Job Description Summary
Oversee, schedule, and direct all facets of daily workflow within a Shop/Mechanic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure employee driven safety culture is in place and effective.
Enforce and manage all company safety rules, conduct safety meetings, and participate in toolbox talks.
Enforce and manage all company policies and procedures, document employee performance and discipline when necessary.
Assign tasks based on mechanic skill and repair difficulty.
Prioritize repairs based on need of asset, cost, and time of repair.
Ability to get work done through others using effective delegation, scheduling, and time management practices Utilize CMMS for Work Order Requests and PM service needs.
Manage Fluid Analysis Program
Assist with annual training programs.
Directs R&M services with effective scheduling and coordination.
Ensure all shop related paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time (purchase orders (P2P), work orders, time cards, hour and mileage updates, etc.)
Ensure all equipment repairs and preventive maintenance is completed effectively, efficiently and on time.
Maintain strong communication with internal customers and departments including fixed plant personnel for equipment needs and production schedules.
Planning, assigning, and directing work.
Effective management of employee performance through coaching, feedback (written and verbal), rewards, and discipline when necessary.
Requires PPE adherence in shop and in the field.
Promotes and encourages the principals of 5S.
Utilize Infield to review and approve mechanic staff time and cost coding.
Review and approve coding and cost of PO requests for parts, supplies, and services.

Education/Experience

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Position Overview
The general role of a Tower Foreman - Wireless Services is to safely and efficiently complete equipment installations, repairs, and upgrades at communications sites both on the ground and at elevated heights without direct supervision. In addition, the Tower Foreman will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of up to 6 members. This work will be performed in both commercial and industrial locations.

What You'll Do
Build customer infrastructure, such as tower erection, expansion, and upgrades to new and existing wireless networks (e.g., tower mods, L&A installs)
Read, interpret, and edit site documents such as Construction Drawings, Radio Frequency Data Sheets, Structural Analyses, Mount Analyses, Tower Modification Design Drawings, etc.
Safely and efficiently complete equipment installations and upgrades at elevated heights
Identify, troubleshoot, and correct equipment and network functionality
Observe and report possible compound/equipment defects or hazards
Document job costs, including labor hours and material in an accurate and timely manner
Accurately follow instructions and complete assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs)

Lead groups of participants through a weeklong experience at The Summit Bechtel Reserve that involves trail building, participating in Summit activities and reinforcing the values of the OA.
Key Responsibilities
Lead groups of scouts through the OASE program
Support other OASE groups in the field when you are not assigned to a crew.
Instruct scouts on proper and safe trail building while monitoring their general safety and health
Work with OASE and Summit leadership to address any issues that might arise
Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications
Minimum age: 21+
Required: Member of the Order of the Arrow
Required: Comfortable in remote settings for extended time periods
Preferred: Trail building experience
Ability to obtain Red Cross First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and CPR Certifications (Training provided)
Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
Physical & Practical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
