The Glass and Aluminum Project Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation of glass and aluminum systems on construction projects. This includes managing installation crews, ensuring compliance with project specifications, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership
Lead, supervise, and coordinate crews installing glass and aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, storefronts, and related systems.
Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
Train and mentor team members in proper installation techniques and safety protocols.
Project Management
Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan installation work.
Schedule materials, equipment, and labor to meet project deadlines.
Communicate with general superintendent, operations manager, shop manager, project managers, general contractors, and other trades on site.
Track project progress and report any issues or delays.
Measurements of openings to support project management in procurement and shop management for fabrication.
Quality & Safety
Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Identify and resolve any installation or material issues promptly.
Administrative Duties
Two (2) week look aheads and scheduling
Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation.
Order notification of General Superintendent, Shop and Project management with materials and coordinate deliveries as needed.
Attend project meetings as required.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years experience in commercial/residential glass and aluminum installation.
Previous lead or foreman experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of glass and aluminum systems, installation procedures, and construction practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license.

About the Role
The position is responsible for all activities at the construction site, including providing a safe and productive work environment, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects stays within budgetary limits set forth by the estimate.

Determines work priorities, and coordinates work activities with all necessary parties to ensure that the project remains efficient and on schedule.
Oversees the terms and conditions of construction contracts.
Apportions work among employees and subcontractors according to project needs and coordinates work so that it maintains a smooth flow among the various trades.
Introduces new trades to the projects as the project requires them and collaborates with management of the various trades to ensure the work is carried out in a manner consistent with the project plans and specifications.
Provides a safe work environment through creating a culture of safety for the project and holding each individual on the project accountable for safe behavior. Regularly holds safety meetings and makes sure that the company's safety policies are being enforced.
Works as a liaison to the owner and coordinates plans and construction activities with the owner.
Sources material suppliers for consumables required to construct the project and estimates materials required for specific jobs. Orders materials and coordinates deliveries of materials to coincide with construction progress. Ensures that the materials for construction are on the project site as they are required and are stored in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Coordinates materials staging are as between the various trades and monitors material deliveries.
Maintains inventory and control over the projects tools, materials, equipment, and security.
Writes and maintains a project's daily record in detail through daily reports. Communicates those reports to the office on a daily basis.
Holds, at minimum, weekly coordination meetings between all subcontractors who are currently on site and any that will be on site in the near future. Coordinates work flows, safety, environmental concerns, manpower requirements, materials requirements and overall schedule through these meetings.
Is responsible for the overall project schedule. Writes and maintains short term interval schedules for the use and review of all trades on the project. Included are all phases of work that are current and applicable. Maintains overall project schedule through implementation of the short term interval schedule.
Is responsible for quality control on the project: holds all works accountable for adherence to the project plans and specifications. Holds pre-installations meetings to review installation procedures for all major materials used and has a thorough understanding of the project specifications and industry standards for installation of all materials to be used. Pre-installation meetings include manufacturers representatives, required design team members, affect ed subcontractors, and if necessary the owners representative. Assures that the work adheres to the project plans, specifications, codes, and other governmental agencies requirements. Coordinates inspections and insures that testing is being performed per the contract documents.
Maintains project budget through management of all labor associated with the project. Tracks and monitors the labor force for productivity .
Manages company and rental equipment for maximum productivity and minimum cost.
Keeps accurate record of time for employees, accurately codes the time to the tasks completed and reports time to the office in a timely manner.
Coordinates and facilitates the closeout of the project. Is responsible to assure that all punch list items are completed in a timely manner and that the own er is satisfied with both the quality and timeliness of the project as it is completed.
Maintains a good relationship with the project manager and works as a team to complete the project.
Act as a mentor for subordinates and regularly reviews their performance and makes recommendations for improvements and wage adjustments.

The Field Foreman will be responsible for site related activities, working with the Field Superintendent to ensure that jobs are being executed in an efficient manner.
Essential Function
Ensure / Audit Field Progress Reports to ensure accuracy
Certified to run and able to train employees on typical equipment found on large jobs. This would include lull, skid steer loaders, aerial equipment such as man lifts, Boom lifts, etc.
Qualified to operate a 35-ton crane is a plus
Responsibilities include:
Communicate any problems with fieldwork to the Field Superintendent and assist in resolving those problems.
Communicate with the Field Superintendent regarding job schedules and performance issues that may arise.
Ensure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.
Assist with the maintenance of HMT owned equipment as needed.
Assist the Field Superintendent in identifying scope of work changes.
Coordinate communication among your team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed.
Ensure that all QA/QC policies and procedures are being followed.
Assist with the training of employees as needed
Responsible for the training of crew members in tank building.
Assume the site related project duties of Field Superintendent when they are scheduled for vacation or take personal time away from the job.
Work closely with all the team to promote a positive working environment.
Any other task or duty as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years' experience in the AST (Above Ground Storage Tank industry), Minimum 3 years' experience in API 650/653 repair and maintenance.
3+ years of Supervisory experience in construction and/or industrial environments
Must be able to weld in all positions with SMAW, FCAW, and SAW
Detail-oriented, Excellent organizational skills
Ability to complete all required paperwork associated with safety and QA/QC without assistance.
Ability to interpret field and fabrication drawings.
Must be DOT OQ qualified.
Must have a 3-year clean driver record
Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle a broad scope of responsibility.
Thorough understanding of construction scheduling and cost control; comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards; Sound communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills;
Ability to handle multiple jobs concurrently.
Maintain accurate Field Progress Reports.
Able to give clear and concise instructions to multiple employees in the execution of work.
Must have experience managing multiple crews/ job sites.
Must be willing to travel for long periods of time

Position Summary:
Responsible for the supervising/training of all BAC technicians, specifying and ordering of materials and supplies, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems for OKCPS district buildings.

Essential Duties:
• Assists Director of HVAC/EM and Energy Management Manager with the supervision and operation of all OKCPS building automation systems
• Assists Energy Management Manager with the development and implementation of energy management strategies
• Supervises and directs building automation control technicians
• Provides training and technical support for building automation and HVAC technicians • Performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of the Building Automation Systems routinely as well as on an emergency basis
• Conducts end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Three (3) years in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry • Strong knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems including HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques
• Experience with BAS system protocols BACnet, Modbus, LON and other open technologies • Ability to test and write modifications into systems software
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Knowledge of configuring and programming control panels experience
