Responsibilities
As the Wireman Working Foreman, you will plan and direct the work of a crew consisting of three or fewer Journeymen. Perform testing on substation apparatus such as power factor, transformer turns ratio, megger, ductor, battery load testing, oil sampling, and other analytical tests as assigned. Follow safety rules and perform switching and installing of personal protective grounds per company standards.
Requirements
Working knowledge of high-voltage (5 kV - 500 kV) substation equipment, apparatus, and wiring.
Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, test, adjust, troubleshoot and repair substation equipment which includes, but not limited to transformers, regulators, load tap changers, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, motor-operated and manual switches, bus work, wiring, battery banks and chargers, and substation structures.
Responsible for work tools, testing equipment, and vehicles.
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
Must have a current CDL; or able to obtain a Commercial driver's license within first six months on the job.
A high school diploma, GED or proof of equivalent.
Physical Demands:
May work in confined spaces and elevated work areas.
May work with bucket and boom trucks.

Duties
Produce work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, subcontractors and labor laws and monitor the attendance of crew
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel

Recruit, hire, mentor, manage and train employees and contractors

Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter)
4+ years' experience as a construction foreman
Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSH guidelines
Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
Solid background in the field, strong leadership skills and the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. The construction foreman must be well-organized and strongly focused on safety above all and at all times.

Oversee the installation, calibration, and configuration of measurement and automation devices (pressure, level, temperature, and flow).
Review electrical and instrumentation schematics and provide input on system design improvements.
Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment history.
Collaborate with engineering, HSE, and operations teams to optimize reliability and minimize downtime.
Maintain proper inventory of critical spare parts and tools required for I&E operations.
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and ensure team competency development.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
