Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt The ForensicExaminer is a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse, or Physicians Assistant employed by Stormont Vail Health reporting to the Clinical Nurse Leader and Director of the Emergency Department. The ForensicExaminer will assist in maintaining the program by providing emergency services for victims of sexual assault, including a complete forensic exam. The ForensicExaminer will work collaboratively with and serve as a resource to appropriate law enforcement agencies, community advocacy groups, media, and legal staff to assure program principles are followed. ForensicExaminer's will implement and monitor performance improvement measures when appropriate. The delivery of professional nursing care at Stormont Vail Health is guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring and the theory of Shared governance, both of which are congruent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Education Qualifications
Must successfully complete Stormont Vail SANE orientation upon hire and maintain clinical competence as a SANE. Completes yearly SANE competencies as assigned. Required

Job Description
Work as a member of a dynamic CAC multidisciplinary team to provide child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse and their impacted family members with an array of specialized, trauma-informed services including an orientation to the CAC, participating in the forensic interview process, providing on-site mental health services including child trauma screenings, the Child & Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and the provision of victim support & advocacy services.
Responsibilities:

Participate in the forensic interview process through assuming a lead interviewing role or observing the interview of the child, coordinating services with the team members
Conduct a thorough assessment of the child and the non-offending family members to determine the impact of the trauma on the child's functioning, and the need for additional services for the child and family.
Provide trauma focused intervention and client-centered victim advocacy and support to the child, siblings and non-offending parent(s) in the process of making effective referrals and linkages to trauma-focused mental health treatment and other services when warranted.

Conduct psycho-educational workshops for non-offending parents.
The Bilingual Clinical Forensic Specialist will provide a minimum of 50 % or more client services in a preferred secondary language. Services include but are not limited to CFTSI & BTI Sessions, Forensic Interviews, Post Forensic Interview Check-Ins, and Client Follow-Up and Case Management.
Participate in weekly supervision, group supervision and on-going trainings.

Qualifications:

Supervising Clinical Forensic Specialist - Queens
Under the direction of the Director of Clinical and Forensic Services, the Supervising Clinical Forensic Specialist is responsible for the supervision of Clinical Forensic Specialists and for the provision of direct forensic, mental health and victim advocacy and support services to clients at the Child Advocacy Center. The Supervising Clinical Forensic Specialist supports the Clinical and Senior Directors in coordinating CAC service provision, ensuring adequate program coverage, and providing guidance, direction and clinical expertise to a team of Clinical Forensic Specialists and the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
Essential Job Functions:
Provides direct individual clinical, administrative and observational supervision to a team of three or more Clinical Forensic Specialists in accordance with the CAC's quality supervision plan;
Integrates a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into all client practice and supervision of staff, and coaches staff to ensure all client practice reflects this approach;
Co-facilitates clinical and forensic peer group supervision;
Collaborates with the Director of Clinical and Forensic Services to assign cases for on-site mental health and victim advocacy and support services;

Job Description
You are a licensed Architect with 15+ years of post-degree experience. You have a broad understanding of architectural design, construction, and premises safety.
You are already an expert. Robson Forensic will train you to be a
forensic
expert.
As an Architecture Expert, you will:
Investigate architectural and premises safety incidents.
Analyze documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand.
Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
Provide expert testimony.
You will delve into the "why" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. It is extremely challenging work, but also an intellectually thrilling and rewarding experience. You will:
Use your cumulative training, experience, and critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with highly respected experts.
Continuously learn and grow.
Make a tangible difference.
LOCATION: Dublin, OH
REQUIREMENTS
You have a B.S. or higher degree in Architecture and an active state licensure in good standing.
You have an NCARB membership with multi-state licensure eligibility and your AIA membership is a plus.
You have 15+ years of post-degree experience and your property management experience is a plus.
You have designed or worked on buildings with a variety of Use Groups - Assembly, Business, Educational, Mercantile, Industrial, Institutional, Factory, and Residential, mixed-use.
You have experience with code evaluation, specification writing and/or diagnosing building defects and design analysis.
You have proven experience in construction, demonstrated through contract administration, construction management, design/build, and/or general contracting.
You have an in-depth knowledge of building safety and construction technology.
Your BIM experience is a plus.
You are or are willing to become a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).
You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You have excellent technical, analytical, writing and communication skills.
You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
You have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
Prior forensic experience is not required. We seek professionals eager to apply their deep industry knowledge to a challenging new domain.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
