Community Healthlink (CHL) recognizes the power of a diverse community and seeks applications from individuals with varied experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds. Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Forensic Psychologist for our Worcester County program.

The Juvenile Court Clinic located in Worcester, provides evaluations of court-involved youth who are referred by juvenile court judges. Throughout five court sessions in Worcester County, judges have used our services for evaluations pursuant to Child Requiring Assistance (formerly CHINs), delinquency cases and same-day crisis evaluations to assess acute risk for self or others. The Juvenile Court Clinic also conducts evaluations for civil mental health, and forensic and substance use commitment cases. Juvenile Court Clinic services include written clinical and forensic evaluation reports, case consultation, crisis intervention, referral for further services, and testimony as needed.

This position offers an opportunity to join a team that's passionate and dedicated to providing quality evaluations to court-involved youth and their families, as well as exposure to state agencies and immersion within the juvenile justice system. + Demonstrated skill in conducting culturally competent written forensic, mental health, and substance use evaluations for children, adolescents, and families.

+ Forensic evaluations may include competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, competence to proceed, and evaluations pursuant to involuntary mental health and substance use civil commitments.

+ Other evaluations may include mental health crisis assessments, psychosocial, substance use, violence risk, parenting, fire-setting, and sexual behavior risk-needs.

+ Provide testimony, formal and informal.

+ Grade 9B: Must be a licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts.

+ Must have a Doctorate in Psychology or Counseling Psychology.

+ Must pursue and obtain Certified Juvenile Court Clinician I&II (training provided).

Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time Psychologist position with our organization's newest forensic mental health program.

This new program will exclusively serve people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.

The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency.

Services will be provided to clients / adult inmates of the West Valley Detention Center in San Bernardino County.
As a Psychologist with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:

* Providing mental health services to program clients one-to-one and in-person
* Evaluating individuals for competency to stand trial
* Administering various psychological assessments
* Writing comprehensive reports and providing testimony in court as necessary
* Documenting treatment and client progress
* Taking a leadership role in treatment team meetings, staff meetings and case conferences
* Consulting and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders

This position will require you to work primarily onsite at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and/or the Robert Pressley Detention Center in Riverside - with an opportunity to do some administrative work offsite.

Forensic Psychologist (Inpatient) Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Milledgeville and Savannah, Georgia

* Completes court-ordered pretrial forensic psychological evaluations to answer questions of competency to stand trial and/or criminal responsibility as a neutral friend of the court Completes assessments on individuals admitted to a State Forensic Psychiatric Unit
* Completes violence risk assessments (HCR-20 and START) and other psychological testing

Qualifications

All of the psychologist positions require a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program and eligibility for Georgia licensure as a psychologist upon appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Forensic Psychologists would have one or more years of experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital as well as one or more years of formal training or experience in forensic mental health evaluation and treatment.
