Opened in 1964 as the only skilled-care facility in Minnesota exclusively for men, Mission Nursing Home provides short-term and long-term care for up to 90 residents who may be experiencing a variety of physical and behavioral health issues. Services include skilled nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, nutrition assistance, and social and recreational activities to help residents attain the optimum quality of life. Job Description Come join our Activities Department for a position improving the lives of others. The ideal candidate for this challenging and meaningful position has great interpersonal skills, is innovative and motivated. Good organizational, verbal and written skills are required. Musical skills are a plus. Duties Include planning, leading, and assisting with resident activity programs and record keeping. Seeking candidates able to work every other weekend, both a part time and a full time position available. Qualifications Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Able to work every other weekend. Experience desired, but will train the right person. Must be able to pass the background check based on the standards established for staff employed in a skilled nursing facility in the State of Minnesota.
