1.0 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age, have neat appearance and must have the ability to hear and follow instructions. Must be able to operate and be certified to operate needed forklift and or pallet jack equipment to do the job.
2.0 PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES NEEDED: Must have the physical ability to lift and stack heavy loads, approximately 25 to 75 lbs frequently. Must have the physical ability to hear and follow instructions. Must operate all equipment safely and follow safety rules at all times.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
Forklift operators perform two main functions putaways and replenishment.
Putaways are performed by the forklift operator transporting pallets from the receiving dock to the correct picking slot or reserve storage location in the warehouse.
Pallets are to be put away in the aisle that the item is selected from, and as close to the picking location as physically possible.
Forklift replenishments are performed by the forklift operator by filling empty or near empty picking locations in the warehouse to keep product in stock for availability for selection. A drop or replenishment sheet is used by the forklift operator in directing him/her on which pallet is to be replenished first.
The forklift operator should get the drop or replenishment sheets from the warehouse/shipping office before making any replenishment.
All pallets put in to a picking location should have all wrap removed by the forklift operator when it is replenished.
Forklift operators are required to fill out a damage sheet each shift to account for any damage that occurs in their aisles during the shift, and turn it in to supervision at shift end.

14. Prior to the end of your shift each day ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and properly stored.
15. Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck unloading process each day.
16. Must be able to obtain forklift certification through the company.
17. Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of the company.
18. Maintain open and clear communications with the vendors and retailers that do business with the company.
19. Obtain from the Warehouse Manager approval prior to working in excess of your regular schedule.
20. Dress in uniform and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
21. Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
22. Conduct all of your activities in accordance to the local, state and federal liquor control regulations.
23. Perform all work activities in accordance to the safe work practices, policies and procedures.
24. Adhere to all established inventory control procedures and practices.
25. Help second and third shift with the loading of carts/pallet trucks as needed.
26. Adapt to any new responsibilities required by the Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager.

Forklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of a warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. The forklift operator should get the drop or replenishment sheets from the warehouse/shipping office before making any replenishment.
All pallets put in to a picking location should have all wrap removed by the forklift operator when it is replenished.
Forklift operators are required to fill out a damage sheet each shift to account for any damage that occurs in their aisles during the shift, and turn it in to supervision at shift end.
