POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Picking Responsibilities:
* The picking functions include but are not limited to using a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Associates will stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label product(s) as determined by client requirements. All picking functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities:

Delivery Driving & Customer Service:

Flexibility to fluctuate between performing all warehouse responsibilities and supporting delivery driving duties as needed to meet operational demands.

Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed.
Recycle cardboard and empty branch garbage twice weekly.

* Review pack sheet and understand what product is being ran daily.
* Responsible for loading reefers with frozen product based on production accurately and efficiently.
* Accurately fill out all shipping and receiving paperwork required.
* Accurately fill out BOL's for each load shipping as required.
* Load/Unload interplant trucks.
* Keep the palletizers supplied with pallets, hoods, and slip sheets.
* Move brite from palletizers when tagged/completed to correct location.
* Keep the depalletizers adequately supplied with cans.
* Remove dunnage from Depalletizers and place in designated area.
* Ability to perform other warehouse duties as necessary (palletizer, ticket writer)
* Keep dock area clean and organized.
* Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.
* Follow all GMP;s and Safety procedures.
* Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
* Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
* May perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge:
* Forklift Experience a plus but we will train
* Learn and follow the approved safe practices and procedures which apply to position.

* Must possess basic knowledge of all functions pertaining to warehouse, operations including clerical and shipping.
