Forklift Operator ITeam member safely and efficiently operates motorized forklift to load and unload trucks, to pull pallets of finished product from production lines and places finished product in warehouse as directed by onboard WMS system. Essential Functions Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedule; scheduling deliveries to production area. Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on truck; moves pallet to production location. Maintains inventory in production area by anticipating and tracking usage. Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies. Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets. Documents actions by logging movements of supplies, materials and finished goods. Maintains safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; calling for repairs. This vital role involves efficiently moving full pallets of products from production lines, facilitating material transport, and assisting with various operational tasks by operating a forklift. This is a day shift position, working 7am - 7:30pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Deliver company materials to customers in a professional manner + Effectively and professionally meet and communicate with the public + Drive, automatic/manual transmission vehicle (safely & legally, driving violations may jeopardize your position as a driver) + Shipping and receiving duties; including loading and unloading trucks + Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders to determine items to picked, packed, distributed or shipped/transferred + Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. + Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence + Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department + Use computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory and enter information into business management system + Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory + Open boxes and other containers + Operate wire cutter to cut wire according to customer orders + Operate forklift in warehouse setting + Sweep, dust and mop. In this role, you will be responsible for timely delivery of our products to our customers, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. Assist in loading and unloading of products from delivery vehicles. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Ensure all products are properly secured and protected during transportation. Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general cleanliness. Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and shelving of products. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws. Provide excellent customer service, including timely and professional communication with customers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial driving and delivery. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery logistics software is a plus. Physical Requirements: Occasionally works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required infrequently. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
