Forklift Operators are critical to our success at FritoLay! Our Forklift Operators are responsible for a variety of typical warehouse duties, including handling material and operating a forklift to move product around a warehouse. Although you will start out as a Forklift Operator for FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:
Safely operate a forklift after training and certification
Load and unload pallets of product to and from trailer
Safely place and store product in multi-tiered warehouse storage
Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology
Properly manage warehouse inventory by using handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems
General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e. g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc. )
We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. Here are the minimum qualifications of this job:

Job Description
THE POSITION:
At our Memphis distribution center, our employees play a critical role in getting life-saving products out to hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. We're open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week because the needs of patients can't wait.
The most important aspect of this position is to productively execute the movement of materials from dock to storage to staging and shipment per EVERSANA SOPs. The position also requires the incumbent to be certified on all EVERSANA Mobile Powered Industrial Vehicles (i.e., Forklift, Cherry/Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, and Bendi Forklift).

Qualifications

Assure that all items are pulled at the end of your shift for the next days production based on the pull sheets given to you by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Always check in and check out daily with the Warehouse Supervisor to assure you are notified of any last-minute schedule changes that may occur.
Obey all O.S.H.A / safety training for the equipment that you operate.
Complete Operator Daily Checklist and Battery Water Level Checklist, as assigned, for the equipment you operate.
Oversee and maintain your assigned areas. Clean and organize products in an appropriate manner.
Assure all of your equipment has been returned to the proper locations and hooked up for charging. (including lifts, radios, and thermometers).
Follow all GMP's and SSOP's for that work area.
Inform the company in case of absence or late arrival.
Follow all safety and security rules.
