Using forklifts equipped with clamp attachments, this role supports the movement, loading, and unloading of bales for shipping, processing, and storage while maintaining safety and product integrity. Forklift Operator (1st Shift) Starting Pay: $20 - $26.25 hour 1st shift: Monday - Friday / 4:00am - 12:30pm This position will require overtime of 10+ hours as well as weekends and holidays based on client volume. Shift: 1st Shift - M-F 6:00am-2:30pm PST Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Operate various material handling equipment such as but not limited to stand up/sit down forklifts (propane/electric). * Safely transport inventory and finished goods to designated locations within the warehouse. * Prep warehouse areas for order processing. * Pick, palletize, wrap, and stage orders in designated outbound areas. * Verify and confirm counts of received goods from transfer trucks and containers. * Match packing slips to purchase orders and receive inventory into the warehouse management system. * Tag and label received goods properly for put away and tracking. * Assist order processing and production departments with inventory needs and delivery of completed orders. * Load and unload trailers at designated docks. * Process daily assignments accurately and meet production and quality standards. * Ensure all equipment is returned, stored, and charged at end of shift. * Maintain clean and organized work areas, sweeping floors and managing waste as necessary. * Follow all safety procedures and company policies. * Help unload containers and support other departments when required. * Maintain positive, professional communication with coworkers and leadership. * Process outbound UPS orders * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Previous warehouse experience preferred. * Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work. * The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50-100lbs. * The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards. * Reliable transportation to and from work Based on individual states' employment laws, the salary range for this position is $21.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.

* Reads work order or follows oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved. * Loads and unloads freight and counts onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves. * Loads freight into vehicles and installs blocking, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. * Transports freight from storage dock area or trailers to designated area. * Secures lifting attachments to freight and conveys load to move load to destination. * Attaches identifying tags or labels to freight or marks information on cases, bales, pallets and other shipping packages. * Stacks or assembles freight into bundles and bands bundles together on pallets. * Cleans work area, machines and equipment to assist machine operators. * Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving material and products. * Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Additional Requirements: Summary: The Freight Handler loads, unloads and transports freight within or near terminal, yard or work site.
