Requirements: Safely handle and load various types and sizes of glass products using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., suction lifters, gloves, forklifts, A-frames). Move glass products from one area of the plant to another on carts. Inspect glass for defects or damage before loading. Secure glass using straps, padding, racks, and braces to prevent shifting or breakage during transportation. Assist drivers with verifying load accuracy and completing shipping paperwork. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required (certification may be required). Adhere to all safety policies and procedures related to handling glass. Report any issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor immediately. Excellent hand-eye coordination and basic math skills Ability to accurately read a tape measure May assist with unloading or warehouse duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized loading area. Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts to ensure their safety Assist with completing lift closing procedures. Work with all mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations. Qualifications: 18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to lift 25 pounds and on occasion up to 50 pounds Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights when needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee must frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, shovel, rake, or ice chip. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud Skiing/Snowboarding is a plus but not required Completion of Snowbasin Lift Operations Department training Able to commit the entire winter season
