Job Summary: The Night Warehouse Loader is responsible for accurately building outgoing loads of company products and place on route delivery trucks. This position may be required to work second and/or third shift. This position is very physical and may require the selected candidate to lift, push and pull in excess of 80 lbs pounds or more repeatedly during the workday. Essential Job Function: Safely operates electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse. The purpose of this job is to set up and operate the lead extrusion machine to apply a lead sheath to core conductors. SHIFT DETAILS Working shift: Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm Training shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Review documentation / work orders * Set up work including but not limited to: * Move reels in work area, onto and off of the payout and take up machines * Feed cable through machinery * Change / adjust tooling * Label product * Monitor quality * Maintain / clean machine * Store / arrange supplies / materials * Operate fork trucks and change cylinders * Document processes * Communicate with supervisors * Clean work area * Train employees * Participate in team meetings * Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in the wire & cable industry a plus but not required. * High school degree required.
