The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily customer order fulfillment activities within an assigned area(s) of our distribution facility. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for demonstrating safety and operational expertise within a quality and productivity driven environment. Will be required to proficiently perform at least one or more distribution-related activities (receiving, order filling, picking, shipping, packing, returns, replenishing, inventory, and value-added service) on a regular basis. Navigating customer websites and data entry. What will my responsibilities include? Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Prepares items to remain free from damage in transit or storage by use of protective sleeves, wrapping, and padding. Maintains loading and unloading ramps, sets up signage, barrier fencing, ropes and maze lines. Performs daily safety inspections on the lifts and completes a daily lift log.
