Prepare a Warehouse Receiving Report for every load of incoming product. Proper label incoming ingredients with tote label and corresponding sample tag, identify products containing gluten, allergen, or organic with corresponding color label. Inspect trucks or trailers for cleanliness, absence of insect infestation, and general condition before loading or unloading. Rejection of any containers shall be done by Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse Supervisor or Food Safety Supervisor Follow Riviana Foods Safety and Accident Prevention Rules. Notify quality assurance department of any product that may not meet Riviana Foods quality standards or may cause a food safety hazard if eaten and record on appropriate document. Notify Shipping and Receiving Supervisor as well. Properly sample incoming products. Following GMP's and have a knowledge of HACCP. Make sure truck inspections are performed following Riviana Foods policies for all outgoing and incoming. Work alongside others or independently to complete projects Perform work in a manner to ensuring quality in every aspect of the product/s Receiving Handling Storage Shipping Communicate effectively with other departments, staff group and supervisors to meet production schedules or workflow of the product. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and maintain inventory updated. Job Requirements: This position requires a person experienced in the following: Warehouse experience required Forklift experience Knowledge of computers.
