Position Summary:
The Ingest Operator will support news broadcast ingest workflows and digital media management needs at our client, a prestigious news and media company located in New York City with 24/7 operations. This is an on-site position for a 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift daily, Monday through Friday. Schedule needs may adjust as breaking news and coverage warrant.
In coordination with production teams and broadcast operations the Ingest Operator attends to daily tasks, which include scheduling the recording of incoming feeds and file transfers, as well as crash recording in support of ad-hoc requests from News production staff. Responsibilities may also include media management and other tasks in support of the daily ebb and flow of assets into and out of the media production, broadcast, and archive environments.
This position will be the on-site authority for the Ingest workflow and will participate in efforts to ensure all coverage, quality, and file naming protocols are maintained. Ideal candidates will have had 2 - 4 years of similar or related experience.
Essential Duties:
Schedule, metatag, and verify studio and field feeds, file transfers, off-air program recordings, and third-party media recordings within a control room eco-system using integrated ingest capture application(s).
Qualify and process all Digital Media Archive and On Demand orders.
Perform consistent, accurate, and complete entry of metadata in ingest and archive management tools for all recordings.
Perform assorted media management tasks to manage digital storage space properly.
Assist News production staff with scheduled and ad-hoc ingest requests and with finding recorded materials. These requests may arrive via Teams, email, phone, or in person.
Create database records of video-recorded assets and take steps to organize and process them within the production workflow.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing raw feeds, edited packages, and other production materials in a broadcast environment.
Experience working in media management and support of a digital media environment.
Experience or familiarity with digital workflows as well as broadcast production and post-production. Experience with Avid, Dalet, and Evertz tools/applications is a plus.
Familiarity and experience within a broadcast environment, specifically with broadcast production/workflow and archive products.
Computer proficient, experienced with production applications and digital asset management (DAM) system(s) a plus.

Position Summary:
The Bindery and Shipping Specialist is responsible for the finishing processes of printed materials, including but not limited to binding, cutting, folding, and packing. This role ensures that all products are completed to the highest quality standards and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a passion for quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Bindery Operations:
Set up and operate all bindery equipment, including but not limited to cutters, folders, stitchers, creasers and laminators.
Perform quality checks throughout the binding process to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining all bindery equipment.
Shipping Duties:
Prepare finished products for shipping or delivery, ensuring all items are securely packaged and boxes are properly labeled.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Maintain shipping records and inventory of shipping supplies.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products against work orders for defects or discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and production timelines.
Report any issues to the Production Manager for resolution.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project statuses.
Assist in other departments as needed or instructed by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in printing or manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in bindery, shipping, or a related field preferred.

Position Summary:
The Ingest Operator will support news broadcast ingest workflows and digital media management needs at our client, a prestigious news and media company located in New York City with 24/7 operations. This is an on-site position for a 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift daily, Monday through Friday. Schedule needs may adjust as breaking news and coverage warrant.
In coordination with production teams and broadcast operations the Ingest Operator attends to daily tasks, which include scheduling the recording of incoming feeds and file transfers, as well as crash recording in support of ad-hoc requests from News production staff. Responsibilities may also include media management and other tasks in support of the daily ebb and flow of assets into and out of the media production, broadcast, and archive environments.
This position will be the on-site authority for the Ingest workflow and will participate in efforts to ensure all coverage, quality, and file naming protocols are maintained. Ideal candidates will have had 2 - 4 years of similar or related experience.
Essential Duties:
- Schedule, metatag, and verify studio and field feeds, file transfers, off-air program recordings, and third-party media recordings within a control room eco-system using integrated ingest capture application(s).
- Qualify and process all Digital Media Archive and On Demand orders.
- Perform consistent, accurate, and complete entry of metadata in ingest and archive management tools for all recordings.
- Perform assorted media management tasks to manage digital storage space properly.
- Assist News production staff with scheduled and ad-hoc ingest requests and with finding recorded materials. These requests may arrive via Teams, email, phone, or in person.
- Create database records of video-recorded assets and take steps to organize and process them within the production workflow.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing raw feeds, edited packages, and other production materials in a broadcast environment.
- Experience working in media management and support of a digital media environment.
- Experience or familiarity with digital workflows as well as broadcast production and post-production. Experience with Avid, Dalet, and Evertz tools/applications is a plus.
- Familiarity and experience within a broadcast environment, specifically with broadcast production/workflow and archive products.
- Computer proficient, experienced with production applications and digital asset management (DAM) system(s) a plus.

- This position is based in a busy digital production environment, and a successful candidate must be comfortable working effectively and professionally to support the time-sensitive, daily ebb and flow of media into and out of the media production and broadcast environments.
