The Forklift Driver's primary responsibility is the customer and their vessels. Every task at the marina from carefully handing the customers boats, to communicating effectively with the employee working the docks. The Forklift Driver projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Prior forklift experience - Marina experience preferable. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail.
