The hourly range for this role, based in Fort Smith, Arkansas is $17.75 to $27.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Position Summary:
Operate computer systems for automated system and corporate inventory system to receive, store, or retrieve dry supplies or finished goods. Operate machines required to move, receive, store, and load dry supplies and finished goods.
This is a safety sensitive role.
Accountabilities:
* Safely Operates one or more of the following machines or combination of machines. Forklift, Multishifter, Manlift, Wrapper, Conveyer, and Pallet Magazine.
* Maintain workload for accurate pulling, staging, and loading orders for shipment. Ensure inbound and outbound ship dates are met. Retrieve and store finished goods and dry supplies in all warehouse locations.
* Observe product for quality standards and make transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
* Maintain all safety and housekeeping standards and ensure all requirements are being meet in protective attire in work areas as required.
Requirements:
Education: High School or equivalent is preferred

Uses an RF scanner in a computerized inventory control system to manage product movements throughout the warehouse.
Ensures all product picked is damage free and properly palletized for stability during transport.
Properly accounts for loose or damaged cases following the proper procedures to reconcile inventory and either dispose of, return to inventory or recoup product.
Prepares freight picked pallet for transport by wrapping pallet and securing any loose cases.
Uses WMS system to identify product drop zones (aisle) or staging areas(dock door) for transport.
Inspects pallet to ensure product is damage free, properly wrapped, securely positioned and stable to the pallet.
Ensures that pallets placed at staging areas are even and have proper spacing for inspection by loaders. Seeks out assistance to double stack pallets to consolidate and make the most efficient use of dock space.
Ensures pallets transported into aisles for put away are placed one bay off of final location to allow room for put away.
In the performance of duties will be required to operate a variety of material handling equipment including deep reach and stand-up forklifts, slip sheet machines, stock pickers and rider-walkies.

The Loader Operator will be responsible for moving and loading vehicles with a company-provided front-end loader or forklift. In addition, the Loader Operator will be required to maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility. Furthermore, the Loader Operator will be responsible for the daily pre and post-trip inspections and associated documentation of their assigned machine. In addition, the operator will maintain a safe work environment and be required to follow and be held accountable to company guidelines for safe loader operation. Finally, through a thorough understanding of Copart policy, the Loader Operator will facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer's needs. Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts. Operates company equipment safely. Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles. Records vehicle information accurately and legibly. Operates digital camera or other basic vehicle documentation and tracking devices. Sets up yard for auctions within company timelines. Provides service to customers as needed. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor. Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.).Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required. Must be able to pass training and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
HS diploma or GED preferred.
At least two years of work experience, preferably in an outdoor environment.
One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Positive attitude/High Integrity.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Occasional O.T. as needed.
Bilingual skills a plus.
Pay $18.70 - $21.05 per hour

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating cutting and assembly machinery; stacking and cutting lumber; building pallets and crates.

Load and operate cutting and assembly machinery.
Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and effectively, with high attention to safety.
Check components for quality.
Learn to identify wood species and grade of material.
Read and interpret job orders.
Must be self-motivated and meet the daily expectations of the supervisor.
Use good judgment.
Actions should ensure a safe and productive work environment, including housekeeping, for yourself and co-workers.
Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Perform other duties that may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with automation machinery, and air tools including nail guns and other manufacturing tools.
Able to read and interpret job orders.
Able to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management, and respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Able to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to such tasks as job order verification.
Able to use and read a standard and/or metric tape measure.
Able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must be self-motivated and able to make limited and independent judgments based on given alternatives.
Able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Able to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand 100% of the time. The employee is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls in a fast pace environment. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear. The employee is required to use repetitive motions. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and the ability to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an indoor and partial outdoor manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and requires the use of hearing protection. The employee is required to wear PPE. The employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The work environment is structured, and lunches and breaks are regulated. Must notify supervisor or group leader when leaving work area.
