Responsible for stocking, labeling and maintaining the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion, keeping in compliance with Safety and Fire Regulations Assist Buyer/Planner in procurement and planning needs. Generates RFQ's for procurement of parts or services by quantity, pricing by lead time, special fees, expedite parameters, Kanban, delivery quantity tolerance, and delivery on-time tolerance parameters, etc. Generates, communicates, and coordinates purchase orders for production materials to meet the overall production schedule. Assist in the planning of schedules and inventory control parameters for assigned products and services consistent with customer requirements or as arranged with requisitioners. Customer service experience is highly desired and must be computer MRP literate. Follow up with suppliers to obtain necessary paperwork to process receipt of goods, i.e. incomplete Certificate of Conformance; Safety Data Sheet Required Hazardous Waste Management from weekly accumulation and disposal as needed.
