Relief operators do not have a set schedule or work hours and must remain flexible to allow for the coverage train arrivals and vacancies as they occur. Must maintain a method of communication in order to be contacted by MPW outside normal work hours. Work Environment Work environment is primarily in an industrial coal-fired power plant. Primarily outside in all weather conditions at the generation site or CCR landfill. Must be able to climb ladders, climb continual flights of stairs, and walk on open grating at high elevations is required. Must be able to perform the following regular and repeated physical tasks: shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rodding, jackhammering, moving trash pumps, etc. Must be able to comply with the requirements of the Respiratory Protection Program . Must be able to become certified in CPR while in the position. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must comply with all safety and site rules at all locations.
