Yellowstone Club's Mountain Operations Department is currently seeking candidates as Lift Operators for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment dates are Early December - April 12th. Lift Operators start at $22/hour + DOE Responsibilities Include: Responsible for assisting guests in the loading and unloading of aerial lifts, surface lifts, and conveyors. Thompson River Lumber is looking for a forklift operator to join our team. Our forklifts play an important role in our production process. We are looking or an operator that has a commitment to safety, attendance with a focus on production. Forklift Operator Duties and requirements Unload lumber from sawmill. Stage lumber in yard in order of size and species. Load kilns as directed, checking that loads are centered and straight. Unload kilns as directed and stage in yard. Feed planer with dry lumber or reman products. Keep yard areas clean and organized. Empty trash bins as needed. Be able to enter and exit the machine consistently to remove or add bunks every other unit. Ability to lift 50#'s occasionally and 20 #'s consistently. Be available to work overtime as lumber flow changes. Prompt and dependable attendance Be able to work in varying weather as temperature and inclement weather are part of working in an outdoor environment depending on the season. Be able to check fluids and perform pretrip and post trip inspections. This position is responsible for providing customer service, cashiering, monitoring, and processing customers through the facility's scale house at the Bozeman Convenience Site. The position requires the operation of a CAT 305 Mini-Excavator to compact and place bulky waste in roll-boxes to maximize volume and space. Assists with the collection and management of municipal solid waste, household hazardous waste, green waste and bulky waste disposed of at the facility. Performs a variety of facility and site maintenance duties including snow/ice removal, litter clean up, scale building maintenance and assists with special projects assigned by supervisor. The position reports to the Assistant Solid Waste Director and does not supervise other personnel. Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. * This position requires knowledge and skills in customer service cashiering, record keeping, basic office equipment operations, and operation of light and medium duty equipment including mini-excavators, skid steers, mowers, weed eaters and snow/ice removal equipment. * The position also requires the ability to lift-up to 50 pounds consisting of full boxes of scale tickets, paper, facility records, bulky waste items, HHW/oil/antifreeze waste containers, and litter bags. * Must be able to monitor and maintain safety protocols, work effectively under adverse weather and site conditions, and coordinate tasks and procedures with others. * Knowledge and skills in the use of computers, printers, software systems and email communications are preferred. * Experience and knowledge with state and federal solid waste rules and regulations is preferred.
