**Position Responsibilities**
+ Load and unload trucks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate battery-operated and/or gas-powered equipment, (other than motorized pallet jacks), for the purpose of transporting product to and from inventory storage locations within the facility. Work from and follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders and verbal/written instruction.
Interpret document/instruction (above) to determine sequence and methods to assemble and repair sheet metal products.
Pull parts from bin; report any shortages to Supervisor.
Work different gauge/type of sheet metal aluminum according to product specifications.
Clean components; load component parts onto jig/fixture.
Drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust, finish, and inspect part to ensure that specifications are met.
Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces.

POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following all Company safety policies and procedures.
* Work from and follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders and verbal/written instruction.
* Interpret document/instruction (above) to determine sequence and methods to assemble and repair sheet metal products.
* Pull parts from bin; report any shortages to Supervisor.
* Work different gauge/type of sheet metal aluminum according to product specifications.
* Clean components; load component parts onto jig/fixture.
* Drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust, finish, and inspect part to ensure that specifications are met.
* Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces.

* Work off rework to engineering to eliminate non-conformance.
* Scrutinize every facet of job and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to Supervisor.
* May help develop work instructions or assist other work centers. Willing to perform tasks for other work centers as required to accommodate customer requirements and work-flow within the plant. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES

* Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and other visual specification layouts.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with automation machinery, and air tools including nail guns and other manufacturing tools.
Able to read and interpret job orders.
Able to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management, and respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Able to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to such tasks as job order verification.
Able to use and read a standard and/or metric tape measure.
Able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Must be self-motivated and able to make limited and independent judgments based on given alternatives.
Able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Able to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand 100% of the time. The employee is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls in a fast pace environment. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear. The employee is required to use repetitive motions. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and the ability to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an indoor and partial outdoor manufacturing environment.
