General Statement of Job Under occasional supervision, operates moderate-sized equipment in the maintenance of public parks and facilities. Performs related work as required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Operates a tractor, mowers, bush hog, and other equipment to maintain public grounds and facilities. Assists in inspecting parks and facilities and determining maintenance/repair requirements.
Performs maintenance work as assigned to maintain grounds, including maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, fencing, playground equipment, etc.; installing sod and landscape materials; edging; fertilizing; removing weeds; tree/debris removal; may apply pesticides/herbicides; etc.
Performs general maintenance work as assigned to maintain parks and facilities, including pressure washing various surfaces; changing light bulbs/fixtures; installing signs and monuments; performing light carpentry, painting, concrete work, etc.
Performs emergency repairs as needed.
May locate and mark burial sites at City cemetery. Removes litter from city and state highways.
Assists with set-up for special events.
Assists in monitoring the work of community service/inmate workers.
Inspects assigned equipment/vehicles for safety; performs equipment maintenance and repair work as necessary.
Prepares and submits various logs, records and reports as required.
Operates vehicles, dump trucks, tractors, front end loader, bobcat, bush hog, various mowers, aerator, backhoe, blower, edger, and a variety of hand and power tools.
Exercises care and safety in the use of assigned equipment and vehicles.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other City personnel, co-workers, customers, and the general public.
Minimum Education and Training
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one to two years of experience in facility / grounds maintenance and heavy equipment operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess and maintain a valid state of Florida driver's license. Must possess or obtain the most current FEMA 100, 200, and 700 Incident Command System certifications within 6 months of appointment to the job.

Has knowledge of the methods, procedures and policies of the Parks and Recreation Department as they pertain to the performance of duties of the Equipment Operator I. Has the ability to comprehend, interpret and apply regulations, procedures and related information. Has knowledge of general facility and grounds maintenance procedures and techniques. Has knowledge of the standard equipment, tools, materials and practices of the industry.
Is able to operate machinery with skill and safety. Has skill in the care and use of required equipment and tools. Is able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment. Is able to perform work in adverse conditions, including but not limited to exposure to extreme heat and cold, wetness, humidity, traffic hazards, machinery hazards, toxic agents, noise, smoke, dust, pollen, dirt, etc. Knows how to react calmly and quickly in emergency situations. Is able to prepare simple records and reports. Is able to read and interpret a variety of materials pertaining to the responsibilities of the job.
Is able to analyze problems that arise on the job and make valid recommendations. Is able to take the initiative to complete the duties of the position without the need of direct supervision. Is able to use independent judgment in performing routine tasks. Is able to provide assistance to supervisors and co- workers as needed. Has the ability to learn and utilize new skills and information to improve job performance and efficiency. Knows how to perform duties in a courteous manner and communicate effectively with co-workers and the public.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to operate a vehicle, trucks, heavy equipment, hand and power tools, etc. Tasks involve the regular and sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and that involves the lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds) and occasionally heavier objects and materials (up to 100 pounds).

Role
Machine Operator Recycling is responsible for operating and maintaining Clean the World's soap and plastic recycling lines. This role ensures continuous, efficient, and safe production by operating shredders, dewatering presses, mixers, plodders, cutters, and stampers used in the recycling and reforming of collected materials. The operator will be cross trained across both the soap and plastic recycling processes to maximize production output, ensure product quality, and maintain machine reliability.

Soap Recycling Line
· Operate soap recycling equipment including mixers, refiners/plodders, cutters, and stamping machines.
· Monitor feedstock consistency and adjust machine settings for optimal throughput and bar quality.
· Inspect and maintain soap recycling machinery, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
· Troubleshoot production issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
· Maintain accurate production logs and follow daily batch production schedules.
· Adhere to quality control and safety procedures during all stages of soap reformation.
Plastic Recycling Line
· Operate industrial shredders and dewatering screw presses to process collected plastic bottles and containers.

Position Duties:
Reads job order and blueprint specifications.
Set up machinery for jobs to run efficiently with all parts checked to blueprint and job order.
Operate machinery efficiently while maintaining 1st piece inspection on all parts, all 1st piece inspections are checked to the job order and blueprint.
Demonstrate timely communication of needed materials.
Responsible for the safety of the equipment he/she is using. Responsible for notifying supervisor of any and all repairs needed.
Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. Double check job order to finished part.
Must be able to follow directives and procedures and complete paperwork.
Ensure no material is used or moved unless it has a part number on it.
All counts must be consistently accurate.
Work area must be maintained as clean and organized.
Work in compliance with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards in accordance with company policies.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education:
A high school and/or GED is preferred.
Must be able to read tape measure and follow a job order.

Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on associated departmental equipment in conformance to FDA, GMP's, ISO 13485 standards and finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation from processes and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or process corrected. Assist with training of personnel to perform various functions within each assigned area. Facilitate work flow and ensure product quality is maintained.
Shift Details
* 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm - Monday through Friday
Accountabilities
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
* Adhere to plant policies/procedures, department EHS rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), ISO 13485 regulations and Good Housekeeping procedures. Shall operate in a manner that protects the health and safety of its employees/visitors and operate in a manner that conserves energy, natural resources and protects the environment.
* Complete all pertinent paperwork pertaining to the finished product being produced according to established guidelines in the manufacturing procedures.
* Prepare and maintain required maintenance equipment records. Use of micrometers, dial calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to perform dimensional and physical inspections. Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
* Uses ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling standard, part drawings, and specifications to determine inspection and testing required as well as acceptable quality levels.
* Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various visual, dimensional, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical inspections per required characteristics.
* Report any unusual circumstances to supervisor and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
* Basic computer skills with windows based programs.
* Responsible for the observation of department regulations and to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required; must be safety conscious and Lockout/Tag-out trained.
* Transport hazardous waste to accumulation areas. Complete Annual Hazardous Waste (RCRA) refresher training.
* Cross-train and support where needed throughout the facility.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED preferred. One year certificate from college or technical school (machinist, engineering technology); or equivalent combination of training and experience.
* 3-4 years medical device manufacturing related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and either repair equipment or arrange for technical support to complete repairs.

Performs general building and grounds maintenance work as assigned.

Minimum Education and Training
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by 1 year of experience in construction and/or equipment operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License as required. Must possess or obtain the most current FEMA 100, 200, and 700 Incident Command System certifications within 6 months of appointment to the job.

Machine Operator Recycling is responsible for operating and maintaining Clean the World's soap and plastic recycling lines. + Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and either repair equipment or arrange for technical support to complete repairs.

Finish Loader Operator- are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader which is equipped with a front-mounted, hydraulically powered bucked or scoop and is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stockpile aggregates on a Grade Crew.
Responsibilities:
Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment as well as routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.
Operate the Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material, move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.
Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
Operate Loader on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of one's surroundings.
Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
Perform job tasks in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Desired Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
2+ years' experience in similar position
Knowledge of road construction materials, processes and industry requirements
Knowledge of Loader and other heavy equipment and understanding of computerized controls and electronics
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Out-of-town travel and/or overtime is a possibility
English and Spanish fluency a plus, but is not required
High school diploma/GED preferred

**_What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health_** Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. **_Job Summary_**
The purpose of this position is to operate, supply, sample and record movement of materials associated with production machinery and ancillary equipment in conformance to FDA, GMP's, ISO13485 standards, and finished product specifications; sample and inspect production, stage material accordingly and report production accuracy; monitor manufacturing process quality to assure that only acceptable materials are released to subsequent production processes. This is accomplished through statistical sampling and inspection which allows detection of changes in product quality so that corrective action is initiated. Clean and maintain work areas within the facility as assigned following standard operating procedures.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Analyze product utilizing established test methods and gages and initiate corrective action with supervisor, department technical resources, and quality assurance inspectors.
+ Perform requisite sampling and inspection of product in accordance with established department and plant procedures.
+ Responsible for quality and quantity of production from assigned machines.
+ Monitor machinery and processes during shift and request department technical assistance; make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum performance of process.
+ Report and track all production data into the appropriate information systems.
+ Must be proficient with all measuring equipment i.e. micrometers, gages, etc.
+ Demonstrate an understanding of the lean system and the ability to control the correct location of associated Kanban tickets.
+ Assist/perform changeovers as required.
**_Qualifications_**
