Key responsibilities (not limited to) Soap Recycling Line · Operate soap recycling equipment including mixers, refiners/plodders, cutters, and stamping machines. · Monitor feedstock consistency and adjust machine settings for optimal throughput and bar quality. · Inspect and maintain soap recycling machinery, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. · Troubleshoot production issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed. · Maintain accurate production logs and follow daily batch production schedules. · Adhere to quality control and safety procedures during all stages of soap reformation. Plastic Recycling Line · Operate industrial shredders and dewatering screw presses to process collected plastic bottles and containers. · Monitor feed material for contamination and ensure consistent flow through the system. · Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal liquid removal and throughput. · Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation. · Record output metrics, moisture levels, and system performance data. · Ensure proper handling and staging of processed plastic for downstream recycling partners. Qualifications Education: High school diploma / GED Experience : 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or processing environment. Experience operating extruders, plodders, shredders, or other continuous-feed processing equipment. Identify and correct machine performance issues. Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance, part replacement, and minor repairs. Understanding of production safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures. Demonstrated ability to meet production goals while maintaining product quality. Comfortable working in industrial environments with heat, noise, and moving equipment. Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to cross-train and operate both soap and plastic recycling lines as needed.
