Job Responsibilities:
Pick and pack orders for various types of customers, referring to the pick ticket for any special instructions.

Ship orders following instructions on pick ticket, paying special attention to the shipping method and any special shipping instructions
Generate shipping labels, carton content labels and packing lists. Apply or insert them in a consistent manner as directed by the Shipping Manager or Shipping Supervisor.
Follow Customer's Vendor Guide for specific picking, packing and shipping instructions
Assist loading outbound trucks as needed.
Assist with the dock as needed and directed.
Value Added Services e.g. hangers, price tags, etc.
Assist in stocking the replenishment when there is need, as determined by the supervisor, lead, or manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in distribution functions.
Basic problem solving skills and organization.

Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages/overages and rejects damaged goods. Prepares appropriate shipping/receiving reports to document proof of delivery
Load/unload goods from trucks and complete Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) forms
Inventory duties: Follows the processes for receiving, issuing and counting inventory in an accurate and timely manner
Participate in period end inventory counts as required performing accurate inventory counts and recording counts clearly as directed.
Ensure all finished goods received into warehouse are safely and correctly wrapped. Operate the shrink-wrap machine to wrap pallets and label as required. Complete pallet inspections after pallets are assembled. Ensure finished goods are stored in designated areas and count sheets are completed accurately.
Safety & Housekeeping: Ensures that Logistics activities are conducted in a safe manner and housekeeping is kept to the standard required.
Maintain cleanliness of the work areas throughout the shift.
Comply with MGC's GMP/SOP programs and HACCP program
