This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand-held device or PC). Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and freight platform delivery areas when applicable. Implement all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures. Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment. Takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets. Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Uses appropriate material handling equipment to move completed manufactured and/or purchased parts from various departments and storing them in the parts storage racks. Skids, wraps and bands materials as required for safe routing and storage. Removes damaged parts from the storage areas and reports their condition to his/her supervisor. Creates and uses Syteline generated “parts pull paint lists” to pull and organize parts by type and color based on backlog schedule requirement and readies them for the painting operation. Sorts and places parts onto material handling carts and places them at the front of the paint line; parts are to be clearly marked with the color they are to be painted and when they need to be completed through the paint operation. Reports daily parts pull activities to his/her supervisor and updates all parts pull paint list documents to accurately record the department's progress. Observes all safety procedures and uses all personal safety equipment required. Maintains the parts storage area so that parts are storage properly and in a logical order. Reports any unsafe conditions or activities observed to supervisor. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Job Summary The Tooling Receiver I will be responsible for accurately shipping and receiving materials to and from the warehouse. Must adhere to warehouse safety protocols while working indoor and outside of the facility. Accurately document and communicate shipments and deliveries to ensure project schedules are upheld. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain housekeeping of warehouse to meet safety standards and follow all safety guidelines Adhere to all safety requirements when operating and maintaining heavy equipment at facility (indoor and outdoor) Must verify all visitors/drivers have proper PPE when on shop floor Prepare tooling shipments based on Bill of Lading (BOL), tooling systems, and communication with managers Review of BOLs for accuracy of shipment and delivery Receive BOLs from shipments and ensure they are properly documented in tooling systems Safely offload tooling and materials from visitors/drivers Coordinate with management and higher-level Tooling Receivers to stage kits for inspection and move kits and large Conex boxes when complete, where applicable Communicate with logistic suppliers to verify shipments Must be able to utilize tooling systems to accurately reflect kit status and supporting data Prepare standalone extras for shipment, as needed Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) kits before shipment, as needed Organize and clear materials from forklift path and other common areas, including outside of facility Labeling and loading of all Express shipments Follow standard maintenance protocol to ensure compliance is always met Complete required, annual safety training Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments Travel may be required May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.
