Responsibilities
Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Measures and records data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
Verifies outputs in the manufacturing process and ensures that quality and quantity standards are met.
Inspects components for debris, and or any other potential quality defect and reports defects as needed to management and the quality team.
Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Moving of raw materials from storage areas into feed hoppers as directed by plant supervisor or team leader.
Must be able to distinguish various raw materials to avoid any cross-contamination.
Locate product safely and efficiently.
Must be able to read and understand various paperwork to accurately move various types of product and materials throughout the facility.
Must be able to safely operate front-end loader, forklift, and dump trucks.
Must complete a daily operator's checklist on the loader to which the operator is assigned.
Able to work at heights, heavy lifting, capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
Responsible for notifying supervisor of forklift operating issues, product storage issues, inventory restock issues, and inventory variances.
Responsible for housekeeping at the unloading areas, plant receiving areas, and all associated grounds.
Have basic knowledge and understanding of unloading information.
Ability to work well with teams and alone.
Inspect facility for maintenance issues; keep area clean and well maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be willing to work weekends as needed.

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to operate, supply, sample and record movement of materials associated with production machinery and ancillary equipment in conformance to FDA, GMP's, ISO13485 standards, and finished product specifications; sample and inspect production, stage material accordingly and report production accuracy; monitor manufacturing process quality to assure that only acceptable materials are released to subsequent production processes. This is accomplished through statistical sampling and inspection which allows detection of changes in product quality so that corrective action is initiated. Clean and maintain work areas within the facility as assigned following standard operating procedures.
Accountabilities
Analyze product utilizing established test methods and gages and initiate corrective action with supervisor, department technical resources, and quality assurance inspectors.
Perform requisite sampling and inspection of product in accordance with established department and plant procedures.
Responsible for quality and quantity of production from assigned machines.
Monitor machinery and processes during shift and request department technical assistance; make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum performance of process.
Report and track all production data into the appropriate information systems.
Must be proficient with all measuring equipment i.e. micrometers, gages, etc.
Demonstrate an understanding of the lean system and the ability to control the correct location of associated Kanban tickets.
Assist/perform changeovers as required.
Qualifications
