Summary

Use both manual and mechanized processes to weigh, grind, bag and seal bagged coffee.
Rack, box or palletize to prepare bagged coffee for distribution.
Fulfill, pick and prepare customer orders for delivery with extreme accuracy.
Comply with established Good Manufacturing Practices and standards.
Complete work efficiently and safely, maintain a clean and tidy work space and restock and prep supplies as needed.

Obtain necessary supplies for the oncoming operator.
Make suggestions to improve the operator procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safety-Focused Operations: Execute flawless operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
* Passenger Care: Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation for all.
* Vehicle Vigilance: Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
* Adherence to Protocols: Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.

Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years or older
* Minimum 5 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
* Excellent communication & customer service skills.
* Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
* Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not
authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
* Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
* Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
* Push and pull objects up to 100 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
* Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of shipping, receiving, and material handling tasks to maintain efficient workflow throughout the facility.
Operate lift trucks, balers, roll grabs, palletizing presses, manual strappers, and stretch wrappers.
Keep production machines supplied with appropriate paper while maintaining safe driving habits.
Weigh and record all machine waste, maintain accurate waste records, and bale and store salvage paper.
Stage, load, and unload finished goods and raw materials for shipping and storage.
Stack, pull, and put away finished goods and other materials as needed or directed.
Weigh return rolls, assign bin locations, and complete required documentation accurately.
Unload incoming trucks and properly store raw materials in designated locations.
Learn and perform all phases of the packaging and finishing process.
Maintain proper flow of paperwork and utilize computer systems related to inventory and shipping.
Ensure job safety checklists are completed and follow all lift truck safety rules.
Maintain compliance with all food safety and quality standards at all times.
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to warehouse team members.
Cover for the Warehouse Manager during absences.
Driver Responsibilities:
Inspect delivery trucks before and after trips.
Monitor truck maintenance and report repair needs.
Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of cargo.
Maintain accurate logs of cargo weight, mileage, and arrival/departure times.
Transport local cargo safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
Qualifications:
Non-excepted interstate driver certification with valid DOT medical clearance.
Forklift certification required.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to lead by example and support team members as needed.
Work Conditions & Schedule:
Eight (8), Ten (10), or Twelve (12) hour shifts.
Overtime as required.
Exposure to changing temperatures, humidity, fumes, and mechanical equipment.
Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs as required.

Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Senior Material Handler
Operate lift truck, baler, and roll grab
Weigh and record all waste from machines
Bale and store all salvage paper
Keep machines supplied with appropriate paper, maintaining safe driving habits
Maintain accurate waste records
Learn to perform all phases of the packaging and finishing process; including the operation of the necessary equipment: palletizing press, manual strapper and stretch wrapper
