Forklift-picker job description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Cherry Picker to join our client near Jurupa Valley, CA. As a cherry picker operator your primary responsibility is pulling products to fulfill orders, restock materials, or prepare orders for shipment. In this role, you will work in a team to meet daily quotas and improve day to day practices.
Shifts: Monday-Friday (OT may be required)
Schedule:
1st-shuft 4:00AM - 2:30PM - Monday - Friday Mandatory OT and scheduled Weekends

2nd-shift 3:00PM - 1:30PM - Sunday - Thursday Mandatory OT and scheduled Weekends

Daily Responsibilities include:

Pick product from location Conduct put-away's Use RF scanner to move product into and out of location Other tasks as needed


Requirements
At least 2 years of Cherry Picker experience is required Able to lift up to 50lbs consistently

This is a full time, hourly position

**Job Requirements:**

To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

+ Maintain Attendance record in accordance with company policy

+ Willing and able to work rotating shifts (8, 10 or 12 hour shifts at day or night) including weekends, holidays and overtime

+ Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights: bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

+ Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in a team setting (when needed)

+ Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitude

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture

+ Full compliance with all Employee Safety and Food Safety laws, regulations and rules of Golden Peanut Company and ADM

+ Pass forklift certification exam, which includes skill test and written test

+ Transfer packaged product from storage and various filling locations into trucks, rail cars or into other designated storage locations

+ Maintain, monitor and adjust equipment as required and maintain paperwork in assigned area in regards to safety, sanitation, maintenance and processing equipment operation

+ Communicate with team/shift employees concerning proper operation of equipment, changes in flow rates or processing capabilities safety concerns, product quality issues and maintenance issues

+ Perform general housekeeping duties: sweeping, compressed air cleaning and clean work area

+ Work cooperatively with Management Team and co-workers

+ Exhibit prompt and regular attendance

+ Any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Lead Persons

This position is located at our Headland, Alabama Shelling Plant

• Job Responsibilities:
• • Operating a Forklift Cherry Picker moving product around a very large warehouse (you will be certified once you start with the company).
  • Pallet Jack operation

• Hours
• • 1st shift: Monday to Friday 5am to 3:30pm
  • 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 2am
  • 3rd shift
  • Some Saturdays might be required for a few hours when needed

• Pay Rates
• • 1st shift: $18-$21
  • 2nd shift: $19-$22
  • 3rd shift

• 6-9 months minimum experience operating a Forklift or Cherry Picker
• Will be required to stand/sit for entire shift.
• Able to work mandatory overtime during the week and on Saturdays when needed
