*Description*

UBC/MRCC MICHIGAN CARPENTERS is seeking experienced JOURNEYMEN CONCRETE FORM CARPENTERS to join our organization. If you are an experienced Journeymen Carpenter in the field of setting, installing and building concrete forms/Rigging/Blue print Reading/Welding and Torch cutting and not afraid of heights (there may be climbing). with good transportation, the jobs will be in the Detroit and Tri county area. This is your chance to advance your career.

Starting pay for Journeymen Concrete Carpenters is $35.90 Base wage on the Check with a total package of $66.91 which includes pension, Annuity, Healthcare, Dental & Vision.

Starting pay for Apprentice's is 55% of Journeymen Pay which is $19.75 Base wage on the check and a total package of $41.31 Apprentice's attend school one day every 2 weeks for 4 years, they also will receive a 5% Raise every 6 months until they reach journeymen level.

Specific Responsibilities:

• As a UBC MICHIGAN journeyman Concrete form Carpenter you will be responsible for the installation of Erecting, Building and installing Concrete Forms for Footers, foundations, walls, as well as repairing sub-structures. For Bridges & Buildings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in carpentry field or more

• Most be Proficient in building and installing wood stick built forms, Various sizes of gang forms (Efco & Perry Form system, Etc), concrete Form panels (Symons & Meva panels, Etc.)

• Familiar with Rigging/Blue print Reading/Welding and Torch cutting and not afraid of heights (there may be climbing).

•Erecting scaffolding/ladders for assembling structures above or below ground level.

•Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts

** Additional Requirements**

• Experience working as a Carpenter

• Understanding of and the ability to follow jobsite safety requirements

• Ability to work well with others in a crew

• Compliance to zero Tolerance drug policy

• Good Attitude

**Ultimate LLC is looking to hire Concrete Carpenters for commercial projects in the Springdale, AR area. The pay range of a Carpenter is up to $22 per hour based on experience. The majority of our position's hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week with travel and per diem available for certain projects. Carpenter applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for carpentry work up to 40+ hours a week. Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate Forms in the wood shop to be used in creating precast concrete products
  
• Install Forms on the precast concrete beds to create precast concrete elements
  
• Comprehend blueprint designs and other drawings
  
• Ability to fabricate pieces within specified tolerances
  
• Safe use of all necessary tools and equipment
  
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in keeping with safety regulations
  
• Supervise staff as required
  
• Collaborate with other staff to coordinate timing and accuracy of form installation
  
• Ensure that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
  
• Providing input to the Foreman regarding scheduling issues.
  

Required Skills & Required Experience:

• 1-3 years related job experience
  
• Physical stamina to work in extreme conditions
  
• Must read a tape measure and perform basic math, including fractions
  
• Safe operation of table saw and panel saw
  
• Critical thinking with problem solving skills
