QUALIFICATIONS
10 - 15 years of direct sales experience in the plastic industry. A minimum of 2 of those years in Polyolefins sales is preferred. Familiarity with Polyolefins production process, technology and terminology.
Demonstrated sales achievement results and performance trends, within the sales function. Ability to handle small, medium and large accounts with complex product portfolios with interface at the executive levels.
B.A. or B.S. Previous related experience and technical skills that both exceed minimum requirements are in lieu of a 4 years degree; However a 2 year degree would remain as a minimum formal education requirement.
Excellent English verbal, comprehension and writing skills. Facilitation and large group presentation skills.
Applies knowledge and best practices to sales function to add effectiveness.
Knowledge and application of business statistics including probability and statistical inference.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and effectively repair industrial electrical equipment.
+ Service programmable controllers and distributed controls systems to assure reliable operation of processes.
+ Identify problems in control systems per production request and personal observation, then implement the proper action to restore the system to standard operating conditions.
+ Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) according to defined schedules and procedures including routine calibration of instruments.
+ Use area specific safety procedures and electrical safety rules to work on control equipment.
+ Provide basic process automation support as needed.
+ Participate in instrument & electrical reliability improvement activities as appropriate (e.g., spare parts list generation).
