* Assist and advise sponsors and their family members on services needed to support or assist with special educational, therapeutic, rehabilitative, or other needs.
* Based on patient enrollment, assist patient in initiating the EFMP packet within the EFMP database ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
* Handle difficult and sensitive cases based on precedents or provide recommendations for resolution to the supervisor or EFMP physician for concurrence.
* Receive and coordinate queries from Human Resources Command related to the availability of accessible healthcare for EFMs residing within or accompanying the sponsor to MTF's area of responsibility.
* Coordinate enrollments/overseas screening between Pediatrics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Referral Management and a variety of other specialty clinics.
* Utilize office automation equipment and various software packages to complete correspondence, documents, reports and records for the EFMP.
* Conduct training for unit clerical personnel on general EFMP requirements to support accurate dissemination of information to Soldiers and families.

The Heavy Equipment Operator is a full-time, permanent position in the Street Department. The immediate supervisor for this position is the Street Department Supervisor. The person in this position is supervised daily. The person in this position works regular hours and works overtime or at night only in the event of an emergency or to assist with snowfall removal. There is no shift work associated with this position. The person in this position shares on call duties with other Street Department employees. 10% of the work done in this position is done indoors; 90% is done outdoors in all types of weather conditions. The Equipment Operator is accountable for the fiscal, safety, and legal issues for which this position is responsible.
There is exposure to chemicals and/or hazardous materials in this position such as asphalt, herbicides, dust, gasoline, diesel fuel, street paint, or vehicle exhaust on a regular basis. The stress level associated with this position is average. Physical work consists of, but is not limited to, driving heavy equipment for long periods, walking, carrying equipment over long distances, and shoveling.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Maintain City streets, rights-of-way, curbs, and sidewalks, asphalt walking trail, and operate equipment in a safe and effective manner.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate backhoe, dump truck, snowplow and hand auger
Perform equipment safety checks
Transport equipment to and from job site
Operate equipment in a responsible and safe manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
Maintain streets
-Complete patchwork/crack sealing

Perform pick-up services for residents
-Perform leaf pick-up in the fall
-Perform brush pick-up year-round
-Fill in soil for residents from water damage results, etc.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
-The person in this position must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License.

Maintains pump stations, gravity and pressure lines. Performs inspections, test and studies to locate, identify and repair defects and sources of inflow and infiltration into the sanitary sewer system. JOB CONTEXT:
The Wastewater Collection Technician is a full-time, permanent position in the Water and Wastewater Department. The immediate supervisor for this position is the Water / Wastewater Supervisor. The person in this position is supervised daily, works regular hours with occasional working overtime or at night only in the event of an emergency or to assist other departments. There is no shift work associated with this position. The person in this position is on call on a rotational basis. 10% of the work done in this position is done indoors; 90% is done outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
There is exposure to chemicals and/or hazardous materials in this position such as weed killer, raw sewage, sewer gas, gasoline diesel fuel, cleaners, bleach, and paint on a regular basis. The stress level associated with this position is average. Physical work consists of, but is not limited to, digging, climbing, crawling, bending, and carrying equipment and supplies, shoveling, operating a jackhammer, and standing for a long period of time.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs Inspections
Checks and maintains pump stations, gravity and pressure lines
Inspect, analyze and detect leaks, cracks and other defects in sanitary sewer lines
Removes and replaces electric motors, check valves, seals and electrical components
Cleans manholes, wet wells and sewer mains
Schedules work orders to be accomplished
Times work to be done with contractor's schedule
Is on call for a twenty-four hour a day seven-day period for the Wastewater Collection Department
Performs Maintenance Duties:
Cleans manholes, sewer mains and wet wells
Performs manhole and pipeline inspections
Performs smoke and dye testing of sewer system in order to detect defects and source of inflow and infiltration and accurately documents findings
Installs manhole inserts
Troubleshoots Controls:
Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment, electrical circuits, electronic equipment and pressure gauges
Finds and repairs electrical and mechanical problems in pump station control panels
Makes certain appropriate type of panel, relays and voltage are installed and working properly
Performs routine maintenance on pump stations
Wires electric motors and controls
Installs Taps and System Mains:
Digs up existing sewer mains and taps for service lines
Reads and follows blueprints
Sets manholes, wet wells, and lays pipe in ditches
Performs Inspections:
Inspects the installation of repaired sewer mains, lift stations, and service lines being put in by contractors
Checks pipe for appropriate angle and depth
Checks to make sure all seals are tight in manholes, wet wells and pipes
Assist in the operation of the closed-circuit television truck, camera crawler and lateral camera to inspect sewer collection mains and lateral lines when needed
Locates Mains:
Obtains request for information
Researches to find appropriate answer
Reports answer to proper personnel
Uses maps and locators to locate mains
Completes work order and work log entries
Operates Equipment:
Uses basic hand tools
Uses Gas Detector for checking sewer gases in manholes, and wet wells, determining the correct hose to use, operating hose to clean pipe, maintaining appropriate water pressure, and checking to assure lines are clean
Utilizes Pipe Laser for installing new mains
Uses transit to determine elevations for lines, manholes, and wet wells
Operates jackhammer and dump truck for cutting roads and clearing rock out of ditches
Operates closed-circuit television truck and smoke testing equipment to inspect, analyze, and repair defects in the Wastewater Collection System
Assists with Other Departments:
Performs duties with other departments when needed
Uses small crane for lifting motors
Performs taps and work main breaks with the Water and Gas Departments
Helps with power outages and clearing lines with the Electical Department
Helps in snow removal and patching roads with the Street Department
Performs Duties as Directed
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:
The person in this position must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
Obtain and maintain at least a class D Missouri Wastewater Operator certification or be able to obtain within 1 year
National Association of sewer service companies (NASSCO), pipeline assessment and certification program (PACP), Water Operators certification and a Water Distribution certification in preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The person in this position must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, at least two years of work experience in the wastewater collection system field
Inflow and infiltration or water distribution systems are preferred along with any combination of the following knowledge, skills and abilities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the principles, practices, procedures and equipment used in maintaining and repairing sewer systems
Knowledge of the proper procedures for operating, inspecting and maintaining assigned equipment
Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions and regulations related to equipment operation
General construction work
Traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of equipment
Ability to read and interpret a variety of maps, plans, construction diagrams, blueprints and survey data
