Summary:
The Asphalt Plant Operator will support our asphalt production facility and a team. The Asphalt Plant Operator will analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The Asphalt Plant Operator will promote and follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
• Must possess 1 year of experience in asphalt plant operations.
• Must be adept at handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge and understanding related to company products, processes and equipment.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of and enforce all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to general industry at the plant sites.
• Must possess strong communication, organizational and administrative skills.
• Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, alcohol and background check, and
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
• Work at various heights above ground for extended periods of time, and can be hazardous due to falls, and/or working on or near energized electric lines and equipment,
• This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs.,
• Prolong periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling,
• Constant use of hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job, this includes frequently walking on sloped ground and slippery and uneven surfaces,

Position Summary
The Construction Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM) provides strategic and operational leadership for environmental compliance across all Fort Myer Construction Corporation divisions, including civil, asphalt, asphalt plants, bridge, electrical, design-build projects, and shop and fleet maintenance facilities.
This role serves as a key advisor to executive leadership and project teams, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations governing construction activities, fixed facilities, and material production operations. The CECM must be comfortable operating in both field and facility environments and possess a strong understanding of infrastructure construction methods and regulatory requirements in the DC/MD/V region.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as FMCC's environmental compliance leads across all construction and operational divisions, including civil, asphalt paving, asphalt plants, bridge construction, electrical, design-build, and shop/fleet maintenance facilities.
Advise executive leadership on environmental risks, regulatory changes, and compliance strategies impacting construction projects and permanent facilities.
Develop, implement, and maintain companywide environmental compliance programs, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Oversee compliance related to SWPPP and MSGP development and implementation, erosion and sediment control, stormwater runoff management, spill prevention, and waste management.
Manage environmental permitting and compliance requirements, including air permits, stormwater/NPDES permits, groundwater and soil permits, SPCC plans, and other facility-based permits.
Support compliance activities for asphalt plants and fixed facilities, including air emissions, dust control, material storage, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
Participate in preconstruction and design-build planning efforts to identify environmental risks, sensitive resources, and mitigation strategies.
Serve as a technical advisor to project managers, superintendents, and field staff on environmental compliance requirements and best practices.
Oversee environmental compliance for shop and fleet maintenance facilities, including fueling systems, petroleum products, chemicals, hazardous materials, and hazardous waste management. Maintain SDS for all company sites.
Conduct or oversee environmental inspections, audits, and assessments of job sites and facilities and ensure timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with environmental consultants, laboratories, and service providers and manage associated contracts and costs.
Serve as a primary liaison with regulatory agencies and inspectors, including DOEE, DDOT, VDOT, MDE, and other federal, state, and local authorities.
Promote environmental awareness and accountability across all divisions through training, communication, and field engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
5-10+ years of environmental compliance experience within the construction or infrastructure industry, including field and facility-based operations.
Demonstrated experience supporting multiple construction divisions such as heavy civil, asphalt paving, asphalt plants, bridge construction, electrical work, and design-build projects.
Strong working knowledge of SWPPP plans, stormwater and runoff controls, erosion and sediment control, and construction inspections.
Experience with air permits, groundwater and soil permits, facility environmental permits, and emissions or material production compliance.
Experience managing environmental compliance for maintenance shops, fleet operations, fueling stations, petroleum products, hazardous materials, and hazardous waste.
Experience working with DOEE, DDOT, VDOT, OSHA, MDSHA and other local and Federal regulatory agencies.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) designation preferred.

The Structural Engineer position is primarily focused on mechanical structures and supports for our industrial and commercial divisions (local and national accounts). This position works closely with our Project Leaders and our in-house design teams to provide designs and concepts along with professional guidance when needed. This may include leading or participating in discussions with other stakeholders on designs including stamping any self-performing work. Site visits are expected to collect information on design builds and other verifications from time to time.
Essential Functions:
Provide structural guidance during estimating toward the development of project proposals
Review project scopes to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
Performs structural analysis and designs for a variety of projects with a focus on but limited to mechanical platforms, supports, and racks for large commercial and industrial projects.
Prepare, review, and stamp structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated project solutions.
Provide leadership and support for the structural department.
Oversee the creation and development of structural models on self-performing and design assist projects in Revit and/or Tekla to coordinate between structures, and other disciplines.

Proficient with structural design software including implementation and management of programs such as STRUDL or other equivalent software.
Strong knowledge of IBC. ACI, AISC, and other applicable codes/standards
Intermediate knowledge of Revit and/or Tekla (Tekla is preferred or willingness to learn Tekla)
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Bluebeam Revu
Comfortable working with 3D environments using the Navisworks platform and point cloud scans

Base Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

Required Qualifications
10-15+ years of commercial construction experience
Minimum 5 years as Lead or Senior Superintendent on $5M+ hospitality, restaurant, retail, multi-family, or historic renovation projects
OSHA 30-Hour certification (current)
Proven history of delivering projects on schedule and within budget
Expert proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office/Teams
Deep knowledge of building codes, AHJ requirements, and safety regulations
Strong blueprint reading, RFI/submittal management, and meeting facilitation skills
Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
CCM, LEED AP, or additional relevant certifications
Experience with historic preservation standards and high-end finish work

Summary:
The Electrical Journeyman will install, maintain, replace, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures throughout the DMV area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install, repair or replace refactors, lamps, screw, bolts, washer, luminaries, photocells and associated streetlight equipment,
• Uses graphic illustrations such as blueprints, schematic drawings and layouts in order to properly located, install and repair street lighting equipment,
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes,
• Install, inspect, and test electrical distribution systems and components,
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot faulty wiring and electrical systems,
• Install and connect circuit breakers, electrical switches, and outlets,
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices,
• Be following OSHA and other applicable standards,
• Troubleshoot equipment, electrical systems and control circuits
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems,
• Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings,
• Must wear proper attire at all times including PPE,
• May be required to work extended hours including evening, night and weekends,
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-7 years of hands-on experience in commercial, government Electrical trade,
• DC or Maryland current Journeyman's license,
• Possess a current, valid driver's license (not under limitations),
• High School diploma or equivalent desired,
• Supervise and train apprentice electricians and serve as a mentor,
• Advanced electrical systems training and manufacturing training,
• Extensive technical knowledge of Electrical service and installation,
• Work at various heights above ground and depth underground surface,
• Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening.
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds on a continuous and repetitive basis throughout
the workday,
• You are required to bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach and stoop using your arms, legs and hand repeatedly,
• This job may require you to stand for extended periods of time,
• This job requires the ability to see, whether naturally or with vision correction tools (glasses, contacts),
• Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, wind, rain and other conditions for extended periods,
• Work performed with exposures to extremely hot materials, fumes, vapors, fuel, dust, grease, oil, as well as loud and or constant noise and moving equipment,
