Summary: The Asphalt Plant Operator will support our asphalt production facility and a team. The Asphalt Plant Operator will analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The Asphalt Plant Operator will promote and follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees. Job Requirements: • Must possess 1 year of experience in asphalt plant operations. • Must be adept at handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. • Strong knowledge and understanding related to company products, processes and equipment. • Must possess a thorough understanding of and enforce all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to general industry at the plant sites. • Must possess strong communication, organizational and administrative skills. • Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel skills. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, alcohol and background check, and • Must possess a valid driver's license. Key Responsibilities Serve as FMCC's environmental compliance leads across all construction and operational divisions, including civil, asphalt paving, asphalt plants, bridge construction, electrical, design-build, and shop/fleet maintenance facilities. Advise executive leadership on environmental risks, regulatory changes, and compliance strategies impacting construction projects and permanent facilities. Develop, implement, and maintain companywide environmental compliance programs, policies, and standard operating procedures. Oversee compliance related to SWPPP and MSGP development and implementation, erosion and sediment control, stormwater runoff management, spill prevention, and waste management. Manage environmental permitting and compliance requirements, including air permits, stormwater/NPDES permits, groundwater and soil permits, SPCC plans, and other facility-based permits. Support compliance activities for asphalt plants and fixed facilities, including air emissions, dust control, material storage, monitoring, and reporting requirements. Participate in preconstruction and design-build planning efforts to identify environmental risks, sensitive resources, and mitigation strategies. Serve as a technical advisor to project managers, superintendents, and field staff on environmental compliance requirements and best practices. Oversee environmental compliance for shop and fleet maintenance facilities, including fueling systems, petroleum products, chemicals, hazardous materials, and hazardous waste management. Maintain SDS for all company sites. Conduct or oversee environmental inspections, audits, and assessments of job sites and facilities and ensure timely corrective actions. Coordinate with environmental consultants, laboratories, and service providers and manage associated contracts and costs. Summary: The Electrical Journeyman will install, maintain, replace, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures throughout the DMV area. Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, repair or replace refactors, lamps, screw, bolts, washer, luminaries, photocells and associated streetlight equipment, • Uses graphic illustrations such as blueprints, schematic drawings and layouts in order to properly located, install and repair street lighting equipment, • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, • Install, inspect, and test electrical distribution systems and components, • Diagnoses and troubleshoot faulty wiring and electrical systems, • Install and connect circuit breakers, electrical switches, and outlets, • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices, • Be following OSHA and other applicable standards, • Troubleshoot equipment, electrical systems and control circuits • Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems, • Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings, • Must wear proper attire at all times including PPE, • May be required to work extended hours including evening, night and weekends, • Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements: • Minimum of 3-7 years of hands-on experience in commercial, government Electrical trade, • DC or Maryland current Journeyman's license, • Possess a current, valid driver's license (not under limitations), • High School diploma or equivalent desired, • Supervise and train apprentice electricians and serve as a mentor, • Advanced electrical systems training and manufacturing training, • Extensive technical knowledge of Electrical service and installation, • Work at various heights above ground and depth underground surface, • Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening. Working Conditions: • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds on a continuous and repetitive basis throughout the workday, • You are required to bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach and stoop using your arms, legs and hand repeatedly, • This job may require you to stand for extended periods of time, • This job requires the ability to see, whether naturally or with vision correction tools (glasses, contacts), • Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, wind, rain and other conditions for extended periods, • Work performed with exposures to extremely hot materials, fumes, vapors, fuel, dust, grease, oil, as well as loud and or constant noise and moving equipment, *Note: This position is considered a Safety-Sensitive, and therefore subject to various schedule and unscheduled screening for controlled substances.
