POSITION PURPOSE The Vice President of Project Management provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Credit Union's project management function to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise initiatives. This role drives alignment between projects and organizational strategy, optimizes project governance, and fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Provide strategic direction and leadership for the project management office (PMO) to ensure alignment with the Credit Union's strategic goals and priorities. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all strategic enterprise-wide projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Successfully leads project planning and execution for credit union mergers and integrations, ensuring seamless execution, effective change management, and minimal disruption to members and staff.. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing project management team to build organizational project management capability. Partner with senior leaders to define and manage the project portfolios, allocate resources, establish priorities and monitor progress toward organizational objectives. Implement and maintain project governance standards, using best practices, methodologies, and performance metrics to drive consistency and transparency. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure project alignment, communication, and stakeholder engagement. Continuously evaluate and enhance project management tools, processes, and reporting to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Represent the PMO in executive discussions and provide clear, data-driven updates on project and portfolio performance. Champion the change management process to foster an agile environment of communication and collaboration. Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, performance metrics, and risk management processes. Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery efficiency, tools, and reporting. Ensure functional and technical requirements are consistent with stated business objectives. Hires, trains, manages (coaches/counsels), and provides directives to staff, including monitoring goals, objectives, managing day-to-day operational activities, and performing annual performance reviews. Attends and participates in all meetings and training and serves on committees as required. Participates in community and civic events to promote awareness of the Credit Union in the community. Provides support to management to ensure the mission, vision, and values of the Credit Union are met. Provides day-to-day oversight responsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory laws as they related to functions within their departments to include OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Act, and USA Patriot Act compliance. Ensures assigned equipment and work area are clean, secure, and well-maintained. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS Assigned projects completed on time and within the defined scope and budget. Project portfolio is aligned with strategic priorities and organizational goals. Sr. leadership are appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness are provided. Strong business relationships are established with members, the community and trade organizations. Project management staff are coached and mentored to enhance skills, performance, and leadership capabilities. Executive-level reports, documentation and updates are complete, accurate, and timely. Hybrid remote 60 miles from Clarksville, TN POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for origination of mortgage loan products as offered through the mortgage loan department. Contacts and creates relationships with potential mortgage loan clients, marketing the Credit Union's services to various outside parties, and securing mortgage loan engagements with new and existing customers of the Credit Union. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares loan application packages and necessary documentation, acting as liaison to branch staff by conducting training in the same. Conveys policies for extension of credit in accordance with the Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines, meeting mortgage loan scheduling and documentation requirements, as well as production expectations as determined by the Vice President, Mortgage Origination. Establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with Credit Union members, Realtors, building professionals and other potential sources of business. Maintain, project, and protect the Credit Union's professional reputation. Intentionally, strategically and professionally market Credit Union products and services to existing and prospective customers and/or referral sources. Promptly answer questions, respond to requests, and resolve problems related to any product or service provided by the Credit Union, particularly those pertaining to mortgage loans. Take advantage of opportunities to cross-sell the Credit Union's products and services. Perform these functions on a regular basis, no less than every work week, and most often outside the Credit Union's place of business. Effectively and professionally complete other loan origination functions, incidental to the acquisition of additional business. Interview, take applications, and process preliminary documentation on loan requests. Discuss loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in such a manner as to elicit positive responses from members and potential customers. Perform these functions at the member's or potential customer's convenience, most often at locations other than the Credit Union's facilities, such as the client's home or place of business. Perform follow-up work necessary to achieve conditional approval within established timeframes. Promptly and courteously notify member or prospective client if loan is referred back to Loan Officer because of problem ratios or credit ratings. Advise members or prospective clients of loan approval or denial. Explains loan denials precisely and clearly. Complete lending operations in accordance with established Credit Union policies and legal requirements. Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and with management. Coordinate functions with related departments and Branches and provides support as needed. Loan Officer will act as liaison to branch staff and will be responsible for training of branch personnel in mortgage loan products and completing online applications using mortgage loan software. Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems. Attend and participate in all meetings, trainings, and committees as required. Complete required records and reports. Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Stay informed regarding changes in lending standards, related legal requirements, and trends in local real estate and the competitive lending market. This IT Leader will work with the IT organization to deliver reliable, high-performance IT systems and infrastructure. This role will be charged with identifying cost and productivity improvements, developing security frameworks for IT assets, increasing IT process maturity, and improving integration. The VP, IT will provide a balanced approach between the need for ongoing execution focused IT services, and the delivery of a data strategy and new tech-forward capabilities to drive the transformation across the enterprise. They will design and implement a modern IT environment that will enable Fortera to accelerate its achievement of ambitious business objectives focused on enhanced digital member experience and process automation efficiencies for internal stakeholders.
