Work with the senior team to review approaches and plan as well as results and interpretation. Conduct literature reviews as needed. Design and build experiment hardware and software as needed (could include circuit design, scripting, 3D printing, basic machining). Qualifications: Actively pursuing a degree in engineering, physics, or related field, graduating December 2026 or later. Ability to work in Everett, WA for the summer. Must be able to work independently and seek direction/help as needed. Strong background in E&M / optical physics, mathematics, and engineering. Experience with basic circuit design & electrical measurement methods. Experience running experiments and collecting data using sound scientific methods. Preferred: experience working with CAD software and/or hands-on experience with 3D printers, CNC and machine shop equipment. Good documentation and communication skills.

Assist with regulatory compliance, ensuring the company remains in good standing with local, state, and federal tax authorities. Month-End & Year-End Close Support: Assist in preparing and reviewing AP-related journal entries during the month-end and year-end close process. Help reconcile AP accounts, ensuring accurate balances are reported in financial statements. Review and resolve any discrepancies or reconciling items between sub-ledgers and the general ledger. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, treasury, and finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in AP processing and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, ideally within a public company.
