    The Loan Syndications Associate will be responsible for providing analytical and execution support to deliver customized debt solutions to Citi's Commercial Bank clients. The Loan Syndications Associate is a critical member of a deal team, working directly with Vice Presidents and Senior Transactors as well as with colleagues across multiple groups in the bank to originate and execute transactions. Responsibilities: Support deal origination by drafting pitch materials incorporating an analysis of capital structure, credit profile, publicly available data on companies and transactions, and industry research. Prepare market comparables, initial due diligence lists, deal pre-screen presentations, and draft indicative term sheets. Tracking and summarizing loan market conditions in client materials, with a focus on the Middle Market segment of the US Loan Market. Execute lead-arranged transactions by preparing organization books, drafting marketing materials (Confidential Information Memorandums, lender presentations, and pre-screening memorandums), organizing and managing bank meetings, participating in and tracking lender interaction and diligence, and managing the deal closing process. Support the review of financing documents, including commitment letters, fee letters, engagement letters, and credit agreements. Coordinate with other groups within Citi, including Coverage, Underwriting, Risk, and Operations as well as other product groups to meet pitch and deal-related deliverables and deadlines. Developing and maintaining effective industry relationships with legal counsel, external parties, clients (in collaboration with senior coverage officers). Develop business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners.
