Job Description
As the Director of Industrial Design, Moen brand you will manage, guide, and scale a world-class industrial design team that shapes thoughtful, meaningful product experiences across the brand. This role focuses on inspiring a creative team, supporting effective execution, and evolving design practices in ways that align with both user needs and business goals.
We're looking for someone who brings expertise in industrial design, a strong understanding of trend- forward design, and the ability to create bridges between physical and experience design. Deliver outstanding product and experience design that advances brand relevance and business growth, and reflect both aspirational and accessible solutions.
Co-create the Annual Global Trend Forecasting strategy translating macro global trends into actionable insights and relatable style segments.
Partner with cross functional creative teams to enrich the design eco-system around new launches.
Oversee design execution across strategic product roadmaps, innovation pipelines, and ID-led initiatives.
Direct design across the full spectrum of styles, from traditional to modern, with deep knowledge of art and design history, decorative arts, and global style trends.
Strengthen global collaboration, traveling 20-40% of the time to our Cleveland R&D facility, Shanghai Design Studio, customer collaborations, industry trade shows and global design fairs.
Ensure alignment with VP/GM-level stakeholders and support business unit goals.
Work It Together with the Innovation Team to align on emerging initiatives and concept development.
Directly lead key initiatives, managing internal and external resources to fulfill a robust design roadmap.
Process & Capability Development
Establish and evolve best-in-class design processes, methods, and tools.
Advance adoption of design methodologies including Trend Forecasting, User-Centered Design, and Design Thinking.
Translate Annual Design Trend Strategy macro level insights to design application.
Embrace and implement new technologies including AI-augmented design tools and emerging platforms.
Lead by example in technical tools including CAD (SolidWorks), Adobe Creative Cloud, Keyshot, VizCom and VR environments.
Encourage skillsets that blend technical craft with empathy, creativity, and strategic collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
15+ years of experience in industrial design, with a strong portfolio of consumer or interior goods.
10+ years leading and mentoring design teams, with a focus on growing talent and team capability.
Solid knowledge of global design trends in architecture and interior design with proven ability to translate and communicate actionable recommendations.
Ability to take complex design strategies and synthesize them into straightforward understandable approaches.
Confident speaking to and presenting trend strategies to internal cross functional teams and external media.
Experience taking physical products from concept to launch, including connected or digitally enabled products.
UX principles and experience working with UX and digital teams.
Experience with various metal casting manufacturing methods is a plus.
Demonstrated advocacy for sustainability and implementation of circular design strategies.

As the Senior Manager, Installation Operations for Moen Smart Water within the Fortune Brands portfolio, you will guide and manage the performance and expansion of our third-party contractor network responsible for in-home installations. You'll be responsible for overseeing third-party installation partners, including contractor onboarding, performance management, pricing, and service quality while ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement. Job Description
The Senior Demand Planner will be responsible for managing the forecast for a defined set of products and customers and aggregating up to the Business and Channel level. This position will develop volume and gross sales forecasts using analytical and collaborative techniques. Lead discussions at various points in the Sales and Operations Planning process. Facilitates forecasting meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Will serve as project member or lead on innovative projects in demand planning or other cross functional projects. Key performance measures include forecast accuracy, bias, and service measures. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently with strong analytical and technical aptitude combined with effective collaboration skills through partnership with Supply Chain, Business Units, Sales, Finance, and Customers.
Location: This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in office (Deerfield, IL).
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Responsible for managing high volume, key account forecasts and presenting those forecasts during the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Manage promotion and event forecasts for assigned accounts as well as timing expectations with customers and internal stakeholders
Responsible for driving forecasting engagement and collaboration with the Business Units through S&OP processes as well as Annual Operating Plan for assigned accounts
Achieve forecast accuracy targets for assigned categories, and conduct analysis to improve forecast performance
Responsible for developing and maintaining new product launch forecasts and collaborating with stakeholders on new product performance
Acts as key team member for innovative demand planning projects, process improvements or other cross functional projects
Identifies and recommends improvements to forecast accuracy using statistical models, industry knowledge and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Requires a minimum of 5 years of demand planning and/or sales analytics experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Experience with data visualization software (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) preferred but not required
Experience in demand planning software or related application
Must possess strong analytical skills and excellent database and spreadsheet capabilities. Must be comfortable working with large data sets.
Must have ability to learn and manage a variety of database applications, including customer-specific online systems. Experience with retailer online portals a plus.

The Customer Solutions Consultant - Vertical Markets will play a strategic role in advising enterprise clients on safety and security solutions through Commercial Distribution partners. This role focuses on identifying and engaging key stakeholders within Global 2000 End User companies to co-develop tailored safety and security strategies. The Supply Chain Agile Pod Product Owner is a Senior Manager position responsible for leading the FBIN Supply Chain Agile Pod that develops and implements supply chain optimization solutions across the Fortune Brands business units. Experience with precision measurement tools
Work with engineering for design review and feedback and for product manufacturability. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
Set and run machines up for R&D related jobs, including wire EDM, micro-machining, etc.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. Must be able to use standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and so on).
Work in a collaborative environment, engaging with other R&D engineers and technicians.
Follow all corporate policies and procedures.

Experience developing solutions using large volumes of data; creating predictive models, using applied statistical analysis such as regression, classification, and clustering
Experience collaborating in a team environment cross-functionality and across all levels of the organization as a key contributor and voice to many aspects of the business
Proven history of influencing stakeholders to drive decision making and consensus building
Ability to work well with others and navigate situations where viewpoints may be misaligned.
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with incomplete data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in retail environments with price elasticity and market modeling.
Proficiency in data preparation/transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend).
Familiarity with business intelligence platforms and advanced analytics tools.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $74,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
