Certifications/Designations: AIC, ARM, CPCU, SIP designation or equivalent certification(s) preferred.

Responsible for supervising packaging line employees to achieve daily production goals.
Supervise the packaging of poultry products varying from whole body to skinless, boneless meat while meeting finished product internal and USDA criteria.

Lead, develop, and oversee the company's comprehensive safety programs-including occupational health and safety, process safety management (PSM), risk management planning (RMP), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) compliance. Execute a strategic safety vision to maintain a safe, productive workplace, control regulatory risk, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Provide expert guidance, analytical evaluation, and leadership for all safety initiatives across manufacturing and other company facilities.
Essential Job Functions
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate health, safety, and process safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (Cal/OSHA, Fed/OSHA, WISHA, EPA RMP, LDEQ, CalARP, UFC, DHS 6 CFR Part 27).
Oversee and direct PSM, RMP, CalARP, and DHS compliance efforts, including timely submission of required documentation and updates.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in industrial health, engineering, science, business, or a related field.
Minimum five-seven years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, and auditing safety and regulatory compliance programs (PSM, RMP, LDEQ, CalARP, DHS 6 CFR Part 27).
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.
Certified Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Instructor (CA-OES CSTI) or ability to obtain and maintain certification.
Demonstrated experience in process hazard analysis (PHA), emergency response planning and training, and compliance audits.
Technical expertise in ammonia refrigeration systems, including mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of hazard communication, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and respiratory protection.
