ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform General housekeeping of Receiving and Production areas to meet OSHA standards and maintain a minimum dust level.
Keep accurate warehouse records and inventories.
Receive bagged ingredients and track the warehouse inventory. Load bags to the 3rd Floor for the Mill Operators.
Gather and distribute supplies for other departments. (i.e. gloves, batteries, sample cups, etc.)
Other duties include, but are not limited to, general house keeping, help out and fill-in as needed, or as instructed by management, in other departments such as the operation of the Receiving and/or Production Departments.
Qualifications
Must be a self-starter who does not need close supervision to perform the required tasks and manage time efficiently.
Must adapt to heights of 40 to 170 feet.
Must have good computer skills and ability to learn the Mill's Repete Operating System.
Must be able to learn to operate a forklift.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to learn new concepts and procedures efficiently.
Must be able to work flexible, rotating shifts to include weekends.

The APEX Beverage Equipment Operator will assist in all areas of the Beverage Plant. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Microbiology Lab Tech will execute the daily laboratory operation and ensure that the Laboratory Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 17025 standards. This position will handle data/report and resources (equipment, supplies) to ensure that required testing is completed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Maintain records and manages all aspects of testing activities
* Prepare media and agar plates for testing and recording on media logs
* Perform pour & petrifilm plating, count plates and record results
* Report out of specification conditions and summarize test results
* Perform sample preparation and testing of raw materials, finished products and others
* Complete data/information recording, follow the status of testing, generating reports and communicating findings of those test results supporting the manufacture of quality products
* Run membrane filtration (water testing method) and PCR method and record results
* Maintain the safety, cleanliness and hygienic laboratory work environment including periodic/planned maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of equipment and the work areas
* Follow lab safety protocols to maintain lab hygiene and eliminate cross contamination
* Participate in proficiency program and test control samples

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to operate microbiology instruments and equipment including equipment preventive maintenance, calibration, checks and verification

The Sanitation Lead will oversee the manual process of sanitizing of production plants with a focus on food contact surfaces.
