Responsibilities:
Assess incoming requests and determining appropriate responses or escalation
Organize meetings and coordinate schedules based on priorities

Identify and resolve minor logistical or administrative challenges without direct supervision

Qualifications:

**The Role**

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

**Compensation**

The Post Release Services (PRS), Case Manager is primarily responsible for Post Release Services (PRS) for Unaccompanied Children (UC) and families. This individual may be responsible for Home Study (HS) when program coverage is needed. This individual will also be responsible for helping children and families with resource referrals, community connections, and case management services while utilizing trauma informed care throughout service provision.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate Post Release Services (PRS) and comprehensive case management services;
* Maintain a caseload in compliance with contract terms and agency expectations as defined by program supervisor;
* Effectively maintain case capacity and trending of all caseloads;
* Conduct home visits in accordance with contract requirements, when needed;
* Conduct the reunification process by performing home study assessments as needed;
* Perform resource referrals, community connections, and case management services while utilizing trauma informed care throughout service provision;
* Conduct assessments tailored to the clients needs, while working collaboratively with the program supervisor;
* Assess potential placements for unaccompanied children (UC), to include but not limited to interviews, outreach to family in home-country, and home study investigations;
* Complete and document all required reports, case notes, and case contacts in the appropriate database in accordance with the expected timeframes and requirements;
* Provide psycho-educational information, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to children and families;
* Provide family stabilization counseling and assist qualified unaccompanied children in accessing services provided through TVAP services;
* Develop and maintain positive networking relationships with community partners and resources for families;
* Refer and connect families to available resources on an on-going basis;
* Assess the safety and appropriateness of the placement on an ongoing basis using child welfare principles and social work best practices;
* Serve clients within the entire state of the respective location, as assigned;

Organize and host orientation meetings, evaluation meetings, facilitator training and facilitation of parent workshops and student presentations.
Source and recruit volunteers, as needed, for applicable programs. Provide training, guidance, support and motivation to volunteers and staff by conducting training meetings, telephone coaching and on-site assistance.
Participate in and support fundraising activities, including community engagement and donor outreach, to help supplement program support beyond grant funding as required.
Maintain tracking and data collection of programs and/or grant results, financial reports, and the progress for evaluation and improvement. Identify areas that are not fully utilizing the resources available and ensure assistance is provided in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field such as Human Services or equivalent experience.

ETS's S&R Ops organization is seeking talented, innovative, and energetic undergraduate student interns to help us deliver the AP Reading. By joining ETS, you will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic environment where your contributions are recognized from day one.
Starting in late May and extending into June, AP Readers (high school teachers and college professors) will score written student responses for Advanced Placement (AP) tests, either at one of our Reading sites or from their homes, using the ETS Online Network for Evaluation (ONE).
The AP Reading internship will begin on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Princeton, New Jersey, for initial onboarding, verification of system access, HR orientation, and travel booking. That week, interns might not work every day, might have shortened schedules, and will not work during the weekend.
Full training continues the following Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22. Again, during training, schedules may be shortened, depending on workload. After training, AP Interns will travel to their assigned Reading sites, starting as early as May 26. More information about work locations will be provided at a later date.
During the Reading, Interns will assist S&R Ops staff with operational tasks and will work seven days per week, including holidays and weekends. Workdays will be long (will extend beyond eight hours) and require significant walking, with some standing and lifting. After the Reading, Interns will return home to work remotely to help complete post-Reading tasks and participate in the AP Reading After Action Review. The internship officially ends Friday, July 10, 2026, though there may be opportunities for select interns to extend through mid- to late July.

* Manage the research and writing of grants to assure maximum effectiveness
* Develop and maintain gift recognition programs and manage staff to assure they are completed successfully
* Maintain up to date information on current trends and practices in the development field
* Manage special events including implementation, budget, timeline, duties, and goals
* Attend monthly Advisory Board and Development Committee meetings; provide monthly and requested reports
* Participate in weekly SCAC Finance Committee, Management Team, and Divisional Headquarters Development Team meetings and other meetings as directed
* Maintain donor records in donor database
* Prepare reports and analysis of data as requested by the SCAC or DHQ.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Community Relations, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or related field
Experience: Minimum five years of fundraising experience; evidence of having written annual agency fundraising plans; evidence of event planning and implementation; minimum three years' experience in supervision of professional staff; Salesforce experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibility: Development Coordinator and the Public Relations and Media Specialist
Physical Requirements: Include sitting; climbing and/or balancing; stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching, crouching and/or crawling; standing; walking; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; use of vision; driving a vehicle; pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying 25 pounds; traveling by airplane; both outdoor and indoor navigation of settings, and standing and/or walking up to 12 hours per day. Driving: Driving is required. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment. However, the office is located in a service center and this position may interact with clients who have substance use issues or mental health issues occasionally. Clients may not always be appropriate in language or conversation. They may lack social skills.
