Foth is seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Client Manager to support our Remediation practice. This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading environment consulting firm, with the option to work remotely or out of a local Foth office. Domestic travel is required at a minimum of 40%. What You'll Do:
* Technical Proficiency: Perform a range of tasks such as bank stability and erosion protection calculations, sediment capping and dredge prism design, and work scope and cost estimating of remedial alternatives.
* Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct geotechnical calculations, modeling, and analysis to support project design.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D CAD principles for contaminated sediment remediation, navigational dredging, and/or geotechnical engineering solutions.
* Project Management Support: Support crucial phases of projects including Predesign Investigation (PDI), Basis of Design Report (BODR), remedial design work plan (RDWP), and 30/60/90 final design.
* Drive Sales and Business Development: Leverage your existing connections to uncover new business opportunities and expand Foth's market reach. Actively pursue and close sales deals, ensuring a steady pipeline of projects.
* Build and Nurture Relationships: Develop long-term client relationships, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. Use your network to introduce Foth's services to new clients and industries.
* Lead Proposals and Presentations: Showcase your sales expertise by crafting compelling proposals and presentations that address client needs and highlight Foth's unique value propositions.
* Strategic Selling: Identify and respond to market trends, challenges, and client concerns, positioning Foth as the go-to solution provider in the environmental sector.
* Stay Ahead of Regulations: Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations related to sediment or upland remediation, ensuring compliance and strategic advantage.
* Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Foth project managers and clients to ensure project success, from initial contact through project completion.
* Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their engagement with Foth.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a similar discipline
* 10+ years managing environmental programs, environmental legacy sites, assessment and cleanup of brownfield sites, and/or strategy
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in developing, retaining, and maintaining successful client relationships
* Previous client-facing project management experience
* 5+ years of experience in sediment or upland remediation projects including investigations, feasibility studies, alternative evaluations, technical strategies, design, and client/legal counsel/regulatory negotiation, including litigation/allocation support.
$80,000 - $170,000 a year

Your Key Responsibilities
As an Environmental Planner you will provide land use planning knowledge to support environmental review needs for public and private projects on utility programs. You will lead multi-disciplinary project/program teams Task duties may include leading environmental permitting efforts, land use planning and coordination/management for environmental projects, technical study support for siting and licensing of other energy production and transmission projects, environmental impact analysis support, and CEQA/NEPA support.
+ Familiarity with utility environmental review process and permitting assessment process, and a general understanding of local municipal planning and/or biological resource constraints with in the Northern California region is required.
+ Experience with the review and development of project descriptions/scope of work.
+ Lead a team of planners and support all phases of the execution and delivery of utility operations and maintenance projects.

Experience within electric and/or gas utility projects and experience with MS Excel is preferred. Understanding preparation of the release to construction (RTC) process for utility clients and ability to direct and work with multiple disciplines is preferred.

As a Jr. Electrical Estimator at Stantec, you will be responsible for assisting Senior Estimators on developing, managing and coordinating large electrical cost estimates. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of cost estimators, schedulers and construction engineers in Stantec's construction engineering group. You will be responsible for coordinating teams of discipline estimators and the position will frequently require the direct estimating of at least one other project discipline.
The position will have responsibility to support exciting, complex projects throughout the world ranging from approximately $1 million to $2 billion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and development of electrical cost estimates and assist schedulers (as needed) with project development milestones.

+ Knowledge in one or more of the following estimating disciplines: High Voltage, Solar, instrumentation, Process Plants, AACE guidelines. National Electrical Code.
+ Understanding of different contract methods and how they apply to estimating.
+ Experience with Sage Timberline Estimating, On-Screen Take-Off, MCASES MII, IPE, HCSS or other databased estimating platforms.
+ Experience utilizing MS Project or Primavera P6 schedule software preferred.
+ Ability to travel for site reconnaissance and interfacing with clients and stakeholders (domestic and some international travel may be periodically required).
+ Experience working with other discipline estimators to develop a comprehensive project estimate.
