Foundations Behavioral Health Services company history timeline

1996

By 1996, the hospital became known as Foundations Behavioral Health and its scope expanded to encompass a full range of behavioral health services for children and adolescents.

2001

In 2001, Methodist Children’s Home founded a subsidiary corporation, Methodist Behavioral Hospital, Inc.

2003

Together in 2003, they became Methodist Family Health, consolidating the operations of the full continuum of care established by Methodist Children’s Home.

2007

In 2007, a for-profit organization acquired Foundations Behavioral Health.

2012

In 2012, the former Gateway Outreach Center merged with Foundations Behavioral Health, allowing us to offer a wide range of mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

2013

In August 2013, FCP hired Drexel University’s School of Public Health to independently evaluate the foundation’s grant making efforts.
