CTO possible co-founder role/ VP of backend development, hands on Rust, Blockchain, AI, startup experience a must have
Travoom
Founder job in Austin, TX
About OleOle OleOle is building the world's first decentralized football super app - a unified platform that brings together social media, messaging, real-time scores, live video, gambling, e-commerce, and crypto rewards. We're building something truly unprecedented - a next-generation
social network and messaging platform
designed exclusively for the world's 3+ billion football fans. Think Twitter, WhatsApp, and TikTok fused into one global superapp - built natively using
Rust
,
Blockchain
, and
AI/ML
.
Our vision is bold. We're not just creating another app - we're creating the
platform
. A decentralized, multilingual football community powered by real-time translation for Twitter-style microblogging and TikTok-style videos in over
200 languages
.
But this isn't just social. We're monetizing through
crypto-native gambling
, building our own
NFT marketplace
focused on matchday imagery, and developing a
low-fee crypto exchange
we believe we can acquire and relaunch for almost nothing. With 4,000+ exchanges out there and fewer than 15 expected to survive, we see a clear consolidation opportunity.
At the center of this entire ecosystem is our upcoming
crypto token, OleX
- a high-utility token powering transactions, rewards, gambling, and viral platform growth. We're looking for a
hands-on technical leader
to help architect this future, someone who knows Rust cold, understands blockchain inside and out, and has experience launching or scaling token-based platforms. Prior
ICO
experience is a big plus.
This is not a CTO title in name only. You'll be
leading from the front
, building the core architecture alongside a lean but growing team, helping us bring our decentralized football superapp to life.
If you're looking to shape the future of social, crypto, and sport - this is it.

Are you a CTO,
with startup experience?
The Role
We're seeking a
hands-on CTO
, and possibly a
co-founder
, who can own the core technology strategy of OleOle and lead its execution from day one.
You will define and build the platform's architecture, oversee engineering direction, and help shape the company's long-term roadmap. You won't be managing a large team yet - you'll be rolling up your sleeves and building alongside the founding team, with equity compensation during the pre-funding phase and a full-time paid position after funding.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead development of the
native Rust backend
, including APIs, microservices, and system architecture.
Integrate and manage
real-time messaging infrastructure
using WebSockets and event-driven services.
Oversee the
Solana-based OleX token
, including smart contract development, wallet logic, and payments architecture.
Build the backend framework for
AI-powered features
, including translation, recommendation engines, and user content analysis.
Ensure security, scalability, and performance across all systems, especially in crypto and gambling environments.
Partner with the CEO and broader team to align technical goals with the company's global vision.

Founders' Associate (Growth & Operations)
Buildpass
Founder job in Austin, TX
Job Description
Founder's Associate (GTM & Operations)
BuildPass
Full-time
In-Person / Hybrid Opportunities | Austin, TX, United States
At BuildPass, we're building the world's smartest operating system for construction to drive safer, more efficient job sites. AI is at the core of our mission to digitize one of the world's largest and least tech-enabled industries. After raising a US$5M Seed in 2024, we're growing ~10% month over month and have moved into our first U.S. presence in Austin.
Our team comes from diverse backgrounds and skill sets. We don't expect you to have stepped onto a construction site. What matters most is curiosity, ambition, and a bias for action.
About the Role
This is not your typical entry-level role. As a Founder's Associate, you'll work closely with our CEO on high-impact projects across Go-To-Market (GTM) (operations, sales and marketing) - from drafting business cases to attend industry events, to improving sales prospect follow-up, streamlining internal processes, and turning data into insights. The perfect role for a generalist who loves wearing different hats and making an impact everywhere.
This is an opportunity for someone early in their career who's already proven they can deliver - through internships, sporting success, side projects, or academic excellence - and now wants to accelerate their career in a high-growth AI company. If you've been told you're “a problem solver,” or “the person who just figures stuff out,” this role is for you.
AI will be part of your daily toolkit. You'll use it to speed up research, test ideas, and bring structure to messy problems, while also exploring new ways AI can unlock value across the company.
Attention to detail is incredibly important in this role. To be seriously considered, please apply via the steps outlined below. Additionally send your resume to the email listed at the bottom of this ad with the subject line ‘Founder's Associate + Your Name.' Not completing this step is an easy way to demonstrate you didn't read this carefully.
You'll report to the Head of Operations, working closely with our CEO and US GTM team. You'll learn fast, shape your own career, and be rewarded for utilizing AI to drive smarter ways of growing the business.
What You'll Do
As a Founder's Associate, your work will flex across operations, marketing, and sales. Some weeks you'll be deep in data, other weeks you'll be boots-on-the-ground helping execute. For example, you might:
Support the Founder directly - from building team onboarding pages, documenting key processes, or even setting up the office for team lunches and events.
Pitch and execute ideas - draft social media content designed to go viral, or test new AI tools to speed up marketing campaigns.
Fuel growth - research top industry voices for our CEO to interview on his podcast, or collaborate with the Australia team on product feature launches and how best to market them.
Tighten processes - review our sales pipeline and pitch ways to shorten time from demo to close, or improve onboarding so customers become active sooner.
Make things happen - pack and prep for industry conferences to ensure we put our best foot forward with prospects.
Turn insights into action - analyze customer engagement or expenses data and present recommendations to leadership.
What You'll Learn
This role is a launchpad for ambitious generalists. You'll gain:
Startup 0→1 experience - See firsthand how a venture-backed SaaS company scales in the US.
Cross-functional knowledge - Work with sales, product, marketing, customer success, and operations in the US and across Australia, and the Philippines.
AI in action - Use AI to accelerate your work and help us explore how it can transform an entire industry.
Leadership visibility - Work closely with our CEO and support our leadership team executing on decisions that shape the business.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Austin, TX. This is a predominantly in-person role.
Early in your career, but already proving yourself through professional experience (consulting, VC, investment banking, finance, law, engineering); or internships; or ambitious side projects.
Proven track record of converting ideas into action
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical instincts - comfortable in spreadsheets, interest in learning dashboards / SQL
Bias toward ownership - you'll drive things forward without full direction
Excellent written and verbal communication
Curiosity about AI and willingness to experiment with new tools
Why BuildPass
Construction is transforming - and BuildPass is leading that change. You'll gain first-hand exposure to how a startup scales globally and how AI is reshaping the way construction operates.
We also offer:
🏖 20 days PTO (aligned with Australian standards)
💸 Equity potential through our Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP)
🩺 Comprehensive health insurance
🏋️ Health & wellness reimbursement for fitness or wellness apps
☕ Central Austin office - free parking, great cafés nearby, and a proper espresso machine
🍽 Team culture - quarterly celebrations, team lunches, and offsites
🚀 High visibility with leadership and opportunities for rapid growth
