Maintain driver log according to Department of Transportation (“DOT”) regulations (no need to log if less than 150 miles as a crow flies). Verify delivery schedule is achievable before departing and ensure on time delivery of customer orders. Upon each delivery, double check unloaded items against the bill of lading and secure a signature from the recipient on the bill of lading, collect any COD payments, and ensure reloading of all pads, stacks and straps. Submit all bills of lading, logs, and other paperwork to Service Center Director in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure a message of good quality and ethics to funeral professionals, crematory operators and the public. Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
