GENERAL PURPOSE\: The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse and Logistics Associate works in the organization and maintenance of Fountain Electric's Spindale division warehouse. The position is based in Spindale, NC and will require regular daily assignments at our Spindale office and frequent assignments at construction sites within the division. Specific tasks are determined by the Company Facilities Manager in conjunction with the HQ Warehouse Manager, and Project managers. Duties include but are not limited to: • Organization of parts and materials • Organization of tools and equipment • Management of shipping and receiving • Custodial duties at each facility • Assisting in filling “material request” orders from field sites • General warehousing duties SCHEDULE: This position will require the employee to work a consistent schedule beginning each weekday (M-F) at 7 am and completing each shift at 3:30 pm. You will contribute to electrical system design, engineering support, and the overall performance and productivity of field installations.
