Your Role: Procurement Specialist
Fountain Services is currently Procurement Specialist in our Spindale, NC home office, supporting our commercial/industrial electrical commercial/industrial electrical construction industry in the areas of procurement, materials management, and/or project management, working either for an electrical contractor or an electrical supply house/vendor. Other relevant experience would be work as an electrician, estimator, project administrator, or project engineer. This position reports directly to the company's procurement manager.
Key Responsibilities
● Monitor pricing of major commodities
● Negotiate pricing and payment terms
● Work with suppliers and pre-construction engineer on submittals
● Work with suppliers on vendor managed inventory, consignment, and storage
● Keep a savings log
● Help maintain minmax inventory levels with suppliers and coordination with MFG
● Issue requisitions - details and quantity to purchasing assistant so they can issue purchase orders
Minimum Requirements
● High school diploma or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
● Must pass a mandatory drug screening
● Must provide two professional references
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
● Microsoft Suite
● Excellent communication and organization skills
● Detail oriented and ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
Preferred Qualifications
● 2+ years of experience in the commercial/industrial electrical construction industry in the areas of procurement

Your Role: Electrical Helper / Apprentice
Fountain Services is currently seeking motivated Electrical Helpers and Apprentice Electricians to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals beginning their careers in the electrical trade or building their experience toward becoming licensed electricians. Helpers support commercial and industrial construction projects throughout our regional service area.
NCCER-Certified Apprenticeship Program
Fountain offers an NCCER-certified apprenticeship program. The four-year program includes hands-on field experience and weekly classroom instruction (except during summer months). Graduates receive NCCER certification and gain the skills to advance quickly in the electrical trade while earning a paycheck.
Key Responsibilities
● Use and care of hand tools and company-provided tools
● Identify fasteners and materials for specific tasks
● Follow directions and think ahead on the job
● Self-organize and maintain personal work readiness
● Install fixtures and devices, including proper termination
● Bend and install single conduit (up to 1")
● Follow layouts to install branch circuitry

Your Role: General Construction Superintendent
This position functions as a General Construction Superintendent, responsible for all field operations on residential construction projects.
While Fountain Services is an electrical contractor by trade, this role is not trade-specific. The Superintendent will oversee and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades (framing, concrete, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, finishes, etc.), ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Field Leadership: Manage all daily site operations including supervision of subcontractors, coordination of construction activities, enforcement of safety protocols, and execution of the project schedule.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed to high standards, in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and owner requirements.

Your Role: Electrical Engineering Manager
The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead our internal engineering team and drive technical execution across a wide range of commercial and industrial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration and communication skills.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on qualifications and experience
Reimbursement of a portion of relocation expenses for a highly qualified candidate willing to relocate
Key Responsibilities
● Lead, manage, and support the growth of an 8-10 person staff in the engineering department
● Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, schematics, and designs
● Design and develop specifications for electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects
● Identify and implement engineered solutions to field challenges
● Promote the use of pre-fabrication and innovative electrical installation techniques
● Collaborate with project teams to improve installation efficiency and productivity
● Use tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or ConEst to support project planning and execution
● Ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and cost targets
● Maintain high standards of documentation, detail orientation, and team collaboration
Minimum Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in engineering
● Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
● Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
● Additional experience in project management, estimating, prefabrication, or project controls is a plus
● Proficient in engineering software and construction management tools
● Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
● Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience managing or scaling an engineering department
● Hands-on knowledge of prefabrication workflows for electrical systems
● Familiarity with a multi-project, multi-discipline construction environment

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Lead Electrician supporting our commercial/industrial electrical contracting operations in North and South Carolina. Job Responsibilities
• Installing distribution equipment and raceways
• Operating and coordinating wire pulls involving mechanical tugger equipment.
• Coordinate and work with site Foremen, Superintendents, and other trades, to accurately and effectively complete tasks.
• Basic computer skills and operation of CMS. (Procore)
• Crew leadership, and effective communication
• Coordinating labor and material
Minimum Experience and Requirements
• 4 years of experience in electrical construction.
• Basic understanding of prints and drawings related to site layout and panel schedules.
• Understanding of electrical distribution equipment, installation, and assembly.
• Understanding of conductor installations per NEC.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work from a ladder or scaffold, work overhead, and perform without hindrance activities that involve repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and/or bending. Must also be able to work in varied climate conditions, and should possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and the stamina to perform physically demanding construction work. Above all, a candidate must be able to safely perform the duties and responsibilities normally and reasonably expected of a tradesperson in their position.
Additional Requirements and/or Expectations
High School diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation
Extensive raceway installation experience EMT, Rigid, etc.
