Ensure that work areas are free of all hazardous objects and that all equipment and supplies are properly stored at all times. Ensure that established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and followed when performing laundry duties. Promptly report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the Director of Environmental Services and/or the Executive Director.     Perform day to day Environmental Services function and specific task as assigned and in accordance with established Environmental Service procedure, sweep, dust map, wet mop, buff, strip wax all common area, resident room, program-fountain room,central bath and bathroom floors, unclog toilets, clean handrails, vacuum and shampoo carpets, move beds, assist with resident move in, assist with resident room change, assist with program set up, clean walls, clean baseboards, clean furniture and remove all common area trash throughout the center. Clean and disinfect all equipment. Ensure that work area are environmentally clean, safe and comfortable,clearly mark with caution or safety signs are required. Ensure that work areas are free of all hazardous objects and that all equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored at all times.Ensure that established Universal Precautions and infection control, isolation, fire safety and sanitation practices and procedures are maintained and follow when performing floor tech duties and promptly report all hazardous conditions, equipment, incident and accidents to the Plant Operations Director and/or Executive Director. Grounds are to be done upon arriving and checked throughout the day. Trash is to be collected from all courtyards and the potted plants should be checked for trash as well and disposed of appropriately. Trash should be removed from the front entrance at least twice a day. The dumpster area is to be patrolled while doing grounds also, and the storm drain near the end of the property also make sure dumpster gate is closed upon leaving. The building should then be patrolled for blown light bulbs, and any found should be replaced and discarded. These bulbs include night-lights, skyline bulbs, curio bulbs, pathway lights, and canopy lights, and exit bulbs. On Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays programs are to be set-up at 2:00 pm and taken down at no later than 3:45 pm. These times remain constant unless there is a need for a special time, which will be given in advance. Michele, or the pavilion cordinators coordinates programs and will inform you of any special changes that will be necessary. The front walkways and the large and small courtyard walkways are to be pressure washed three times a year or as needed, which will be determined via the Plant Operations Director Any assigned work orders should be completed in a timely manner also. Any special assignments delegated are to be done in an orderly and timely manner. These assignments may be environment, building or resident related. Tools or equipment used should be returned to maintenance office or it's proper place of origin. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Completion of elementary education or otherwise show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Must speak and understand English. Positive attitude towards the elderly.

Consistently work cooperatively with residents, charge nurses, treatment nurses, restorative nurses, other nursing assistants, physicians, families, consultant personnel and ancillary service providers. 28. Observe all facility safety policies and procedures.
