Building Manager

The Building Manager is responsible for the coordination and the management of general building security, safety, maintenance and welfare of occupants. The building manager is also in charge of building construction in that they will assure completion and maintenance of the building. Safety and security are the priorities for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Developing and coordinating facility emergency and management policies and procedures to ensure that the building is secure, maintained and running smoothly. Safety and security are the priorities for this position.

2. As part of their ongoing duties, the Building Manager must maintain and repair the building. This will entail routine tasks such as fixing broken or malfunctioning locks, plumbing, electrical system, and outsourcing complex tasks such as the heating and cooling systems to a third-party contractor.

3. Because of previous maintenance problems, the Building Manager will assess
current building systems and structures and be responsible to ensure the
problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.

4. The Building Manager will oversee security and safety and will assess and supervise the bailiffs as part of the security measures. This will include the cameras, security doors and security gate and equipment.
5. The Building Manager will also handle painting, landscaping and other cosmetic aspects of the building.
6. They will need to report to their supervisor on a regular basis and keep clear
and organized records of the building.
7. And other duties as assigned.

**Essential Functions:**

+ Pull wiring harness from 1 to 60 lbs. up thru industrial sewing machine with 24, 36 and 48 spool braiding machine and monitor for proper product quality.

+ Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.

+ You will be performing setup and operation of multiple braiding machines to weave fine wire and thread over cable wiring harness

+ Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.

+ Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

+ Must be able to demonstrate ability to operate department equipment (i.e. Hot knife, Wire cutters, Teflon tape).

+ Must be able to lift 60 lbs. on a regular basis throughout a 10 hour shift

+ Must be able to tolerate standing, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, rotating, lifting up to 60 lbs ongoing throughout a 10 hour shift.
