Overview of the Role
The Executive Assistant & Tradeshow Coordinator provides high-level administrative and logistical support to 2 members of the Executive Leadership Team while also leading the coordination and execution of company tradeshow participation across key industry events. This dual-function role ensures seamless executive operations, effective time management, and professional representation of the company at client- and industry-facing events.

What You'll Do at C.A. Fortune
Executive Support - 60%
Provide proactive calendar and scheduling management for assigned executives, ensuring alignment with priorities and minimizing conflicts.
Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports - balancing cost, time and convenience
Anticipate needs - both operational and personal before they are voiced ensuring the executive is prepared and give time back to the business
Client meeting, calendar management, proactive needs of the dedicated teams (ex: client holiday gifts, client/internal meeting coordination, booking and coordinating client dinners/entertainment, etc.)
Prepare correspondence, meeting agendas, and presentation materials; take and distribute meeting notes and follow-up actions.

Support special projects, company communications, and event logistics as assigned.
Tradeshow Coordination - 40%
Plan, organize, and execute company presence at industry tradeshows and events in partnership with Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Client Service teams.
Manage hotel room blocks, travel logistics, exhibitor and attendee registrations, and shipment coordination for all show participants.
Develop and maintain show rosters, event briefing documents, and on-site contact lists.
Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth pre-show planning, on-site execution, and post-show follow-up.
Track budgets, vendor invoices, and expense reconciliation related to tradeshows in partnership with Finance. Partnering with ELT to determine core attendees.
Owner of corporate tradeshow playbook & all pre show planning calls
Maintain an annual tradeshow calendar and support strategic event planning cycles
Partner with Corp Marketing to ensure employees uphold C.A. brand when in attendance and ensure sponsorship support
Ex - Swag ordering and coordination, shopping of all tradeshow materials, facilitate all IT needs and meeting rooms
What You Should Bring to the Table
5+ years of executive or admin support experience

What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field

**Job Description**

Faro Blanco Courtyard is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a hybrid role that offers a blend of on-property presence and remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships to help grow our business and maximize revenue.
What You'll Do:
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Ensure daily operational procedures of the Sales department are executed efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
Stay fully informed of, and ensure team adherence to, all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain thorough knowledge of existing customer accounts, particularly those involving corporate clients, government agencies, associations, tour groups, sports teams, and other key segments.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
Develop and implement promotional packages and programs to drive business during off-peak periods, including coordinating advertising efforts through various channels (e.g., print media, direct mail, billboards).
Represent the hotel at trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and other community or industry functions to generate business and enhance visibility.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with the General Manager, department heads, and hotel staff.
Proactively manage and grow accounts within assigned market segments to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the Sales department, ensuring alignment with hotel standards and objectives.
Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
A proven track record in hotel sales.
Experience in selling weddings is a plus, but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Knowledge of local market conditions and economic factors.
Solid understanding of hotel operations and the sales cycle.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting business documents such as safety protocols, operating procedures, banquet event orders (B.E.O.s), and reports.
Skilled in preparing routine reports, correspondence, and delivering presentations.
Familiarity with sales and marketing tools and techniques.
Understanding of client needs and the ability to recommend local events or attractions to enhance the guest experience.

Overview of the Role
The Category Analyst II will champion the development and maintenance of the go-to-market analytics designed to support, track, and grow core and new product initiatives for all Kroger divisions. They will act as a leader by providing the analytics and insights needed to optimize pricing, promotion, distribution, displays and shelf placement, and lead business update/review analyses. The position will develop and maintain value-added and actionable category management tools, incorporating customer learning and strategic brand insights that will guide sales and business managers to achieve volume and distribution objectives. This position will perform as if they are an internal consultant and trusted advisor to the business manager as their client.
Location: Hybrid in-office 3 days a week; Chicago, IL
Salary range $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

What You'll Do at C.A. Fortune
Develop fact-based category reviews, business updates/reviews and selling stories
Present business updates/reviews to client, clearly articulating trends and recommendations to optimize strategic planning and selling efforts
Develop and deliver account presentations relative to new items, share of shelf, and/or efficient assortment
Create, maintain and perfect analytical tools, reporting and resources leveraged against the client
Improve methodology related to reporting, analysis, identifying distribution voids and quantifying opportunity gaps
Analyze shopper and consumer information and develop recommended actions based on insights
Track, monitor and provide actionable feedback on distribution & sales trends
Utilize Kroger systems (POS & shopper behavior), syndicated data, and consumer research to develop fact-based analysis and business reviews
Conduct promotional planning support via in-depth retailer specific analysis
Work with the Business Managers to manage the distribution priorities throughout Kroger and determine key opportunities
Evaluate effectiveness of programs and communicate strategy and best practices internally and externally
What You Should Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Psychology plus 1+ years CPG industry sales or retailer-facing category management experience
Working knowledge of Kroger systems (Market 6/OnDemand & 84.51 Stratum); pulling and manipulating the datasets
Experience in selling story development, category reviews & knowledge of category management principles
Advanced analytical, Excel & PowerPoint skills
Have curiosity, have a detective-like mentality to find the root cause of a problem
You Will Stand Out if You Have
CPG industry sales organization experience, in a sales/analytical capacity in Natural/Specialty food and/or beverage
Experience in category management
Working knowledge of syndicated data (via SPINs (Satori), Nielsen, or IRI)
Working knowledge of Panel data and primary use cases.
Experience working with Kroger (exposure and can communicate in Kroger language - time frames, acronyms, etc.)
Advanced communications skills, ability to clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise manner
A demonstrated competency in multi-tasking and problem-solving with focus on meeting deadlines
Critical thinker & process-oriented: can turn self-developed strategies/efficient processes into execution
Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

With appropriate supervision you may perform designs of uncomplicated piping and equipment selection for Plumbing/Fire Protection systems for building design. As necessary assist with HVAC Designs.
Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings of plumbing and fire protection systems from schematic design to construction administration phases including layout, sketches and detail drawings as required, with supervisory oversight. As necessary perform Revit/BIM modeling for HVAC systems.
Assist with editing specifications relating to existing and new projects.
Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with the contract documents.
Research as assigned and respond to emergent issues.
May write draft reports to be reviewed by a professional engineer.
Assists in gathering information to respond to RFI's and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents.
May perform job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site.
May coordinate specific activities on particular elements of a project.
Perform other duties as assigned.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required. Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years of related experience required.
Current CPD, PE in Mechanical or FPE in the United States preferred.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to effectively handle multiple projects.
Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit) required.
The salary range for this position to be filled in the Chicago office is $62,600 to $72,975 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
