About the role
The Banquet Server offers pre-determined menu selections to guests and delivers items to the guest in a timely manner. The Banquet Server also assists with set-up, breakdown, and clearing of items according to the banquet event order.
What you will do
* Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge s of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods;
* Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests; check completed orders with guest's original order.
* Coordinate food timings. Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
* Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
* Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order. Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
What you bring
* At least 2 years of high-volume banquet serving experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
* Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
* Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.

What will I be doing?

What will I be doing?

Overview of Position
The Pool & Beach Bartender is responsible for, but not limited to, serving and assisting guests in a courteous and efficient manner in the bar environment, consistently mixing and serving beverages according to the set standards of the Beverage department. About the role
The AM Bar Bartender is an essential member of the Restaurant daytime team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Bartender assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. The Bartender provides quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons hotels standards of service. The Bartender has a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.
We are looking for individuals with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wine and liquor is required. Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential. The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request. The Bartender position requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
What you will do
* Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
* Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order.
* Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, cognacs and specialty drinks.
* Serve food items in the bar area with same level of knowledge as beverage items.
* Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
* Properly and accurately close guest checks making sure that no items are prepared without a check; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

* Minimum two years bartending or related work.
* Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks.
