About the Role: Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Reservations Agent to join our dynamic Rooms Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, and we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other's contribution and importance. What you will do: The Reservations Agent is responsible for selling the resort and providing information to prospective guests, to capture sales from the incoming calls and coordinate details of each reservation to ensure the guest's satisfaction. The Reservations Agent should be an experienced customer service professional with excellent phone skills, ability to multitask and have a passion for service and hospitality. In addition, he/she must be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems as well as communicating over the telephone. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. This may include some evenings, weekends and holidays. Some travel may be required. About the Role Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Coordinator. Team members in this role assign rooms to the Self-Inspectors/Public Area Attendants and support the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation. The Coordinator is responsible for answering all internal and external Housekeeping telephone/e-mail/radio requests. Monitors all HotSOS requests and communicates with multiple departments to ensure completion of all guest/internal requests. What you will do * Record every telephone/radio call in a log book/database. Handle all guest requests for the Laundry/Valet Department. * Utilize all systems that relate to Housekeeping on a daily basis: Opera, Word, Golden, Excel, HotSOS, REX, and Outlook. * Assign room assignment boards (Self Inspector Attendants) in REX or Opera. * Organize the Housekeeping office ensuring files are updated. * Prepare the room discrepancy report, record any issues in guest experience and rooms and inform the Housekeeping management and Engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved. What you bring * The ability to read, write and speak English. * The ability to speak Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus, but not required. * The ability to utilize the telephones adhering to Four Seasons standards. * The ability to expedite any guest requests as quickly as possible and notify Housekeeping management of any glitches. * The ability to assist Housekeeping management in administrative work as directed. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff. * The ability to utilize computer systems such as HotSOS, Opera, Golden, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Previous experience in Housekeeping preferred, but not required.
