About the Role
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Coordinator. Team members in this role assign rooms to the Self-Inspectors/Public Area Attendants and support the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation. The Coordinator is responsible for answering all internal and external Housekeeping telephone/e-mail/radio requests. Monitors all HotSOS requests and communicates with multiple departments to ensure completion of all guest/internal requests.
What you will do
* Record every telephone/radio call in a log book/database. Handle all guest requests for the Laundry/Valet Department.
* Utilize all systems that relate to Housekeeping on a daily basis: Opera, Word, Golden, Excel, HotSOS, REX, and Outlook.
* Assign room assignment boards (Self Inspector Attendants) in REX or Opera.
* Organize the Housekeeping office ensuring files are updated.
* Prepare the room discrepancy report, record any issues in guest experience and rooms and inform the Housekeeping management and Engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved.
What you bring
* The ability to read, write and speak English.
* The ability to speak Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus, but not required.
* The ability to utilize the telephones adhering to Four Seasons standards.
* The ability to expedite any guest requests as quickly as possible and notify Housekeeping management of any glitches.
* The ability to assist Housekeeping management in administrative work as directed. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
* The ability to utilize computer systems such as HotSOS, Opera, Golden, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Previous experience in Housekeeping preferred, but not required.

About the role
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join its dynamic Engineering team as HVAC Mechanic. Our HVAC Mechanic diagnoses and provides service and repairs to residential equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating. Additionally, they respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum
Residential satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' guidelines and policies.
What you will do
* Diagnose and perform all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers DOAS units and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
* Perform building maintenance duties including, but not limited to, painting, wallpapering, window installation and repair, floor treatment and repair, door hanging and repairing, and exterior wall surfaces.
* Perform various carpentry duties as assigned including, but not limited to, repairing walls, doors and trim, furniture repairs, lockers, gate locks and fences.
* Replace burned out and defective fluorescent tubes and light bulbs, ballasts, broken light switches, duplex receptacles, plates, and other plug receptacles.
* Repair bathroom plumbing including leaking faucets and damaged vanity sinks, clogged toilets, shower and sink drains.
* Maintain heating and refrigeration units, replace filters, clean vents and repair coolers.
* Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department.
* Complete maintenance and separation of refuse and trash chute and corresponding areas.
* Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment as well as update appropriate logs.
* Respond to residents' calls regarding maintenance of units and equipment in units or common areas in a timely manner.
* Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
What you bring
* Fluent in English, reading and writing.
* High school diploma or equivalent experience.
* Experience required by position is from 1 to 2 years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization.
* Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
* Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.
* Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.
* Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
